I’ve just ordered a fully loaded 320i M-Sport Pro in Brooklyn Grey, should be delivered late Aug early Sept, me and my son can’t wait. Going to go on a road trip just to be able to play with all the gadgets.

@@miketaylor1916I ordered a 330e tourer in April with a delivery date of September… so December for you would be about right..

I used to have petrol 2 litre Xdrive 3 series tourer - i put snow tyres on it and it was amazing in the snow, the only downside was the drivers seat which murdered my lower back so changed it for a 5 series tourer which is also very nice to be fair 😁

I have to say, I think you’re wrong on the long distance fuel economy analysis. I have a ‘21 model 330e in saloon form and make regular trips from Liverpool to London to see family.
With the battery fully charged and a full tank of petrol, I get 260ish miles of range. What’s impressive is I arrive in north London with just over half a tank of fuel left and the battery with 3-4 miles of range.
Charging the battery in London before heading back means with a patient right foot, I can make a trip to London and back to Liverpool on a single tank of petrol. I don’t think many 2.0 petrol or diesels could manage that.
If you set the car in hybrid or hybrid eco, and input your destination in the satnav, the car plans the most efficient journey. Don’t quote me, but I think I read somewhere it even factors in stretches it knows require less fuel and implements the battery to keep rolling while using the resistance of the more difficult roads with for example inclines to top up charge while on longer drives.
This car is phenomenally efficient when used in the correct way while still being a blast to drive! We’re so impressed with the BMW hybrid powertrain that we’re now waiting on the delivery of my wife’s X5 50e in October. Counting down the days like it’s Christmas!

that's 450 miles of range? Most 2.0 Diesels can most certainly do that, even some petrols...

You say that you achieve 45mpg, is this the avg fuel consumption that you achieve including using electricity? How much electricity did you consume in order to achieve the mpg number?

It's amazing that they haven't been able to integrate that battery better than creating that bump in tbe trunk.
