If you find you have a broken side view mirror glass but the overall housing is intact, you don't have to pay hundreds of dollars at the dealership to have it repaired.
You don't need to remove the cover to do this job, but in my case, the cover was loose and popped off while i was trying to remove the mirror - which worked out good for the video as it helps you see all the inner workings of the mirror.
Job difficulty : EASY
