I always put guard rails on my walkways/bridges because my companions and settlers are clutzes and have no sense and fall off of everything and then get stuck...and if all else fails they teleport up onto the highest roof and try it from there...😅 So yes, I would put railings on the big bridge; if settlers still manage to fall off, they're hopeless--leave them and go build another settlement in a different location and hope for a better outcome!

Very sorry to hear of your own experience with CA. We're so glad that you survived!! I can empathize, as I am a cancer survivor as well; and oddly, my condition also involved intermittent internal hemorrhaging. The resulting pain and weakness were pretty much undescribable.

I'd say no railings for the central walkway. It looks great just as is :)
Also, when you were working on the platform for the house/shack at around the 37:00 mark, I couldn't help but think that it would be awesome if the shack had an inside ladder to the small rooftop of the four story section to the left of it (when facing the brick wall). Like a shack with an attic idea. Or just a two level house. It just looks so perfect for that!
And it would add more levels, but this time without another full walkway level :)
No railings I'm sure the raiders will enjoy the jet fuelled falls lol

The only problem with hangman’s ally is that settlers don’t move into the back area where there’s a lot more space at the bottom but the sliver lining is that it can be where the player has all the crafting space and things there without having to kick npcs off the station

No railings. They're raiders. They need a place to drape their legs while sitting. Also, awesome for the donation!
attach power conduits to chains on suspension parts and run 2 wires .. its a wire railing so not super secure but Raider lazy building. then I would delete the connecters... alternate just use actual bar conduit with connecters it will look like pipe railing.

I haven’t finished the video yet, but maybe you could use those pipes at 9:40 for the support? The ones on the wall, kind of give it a junk vibe and also so actual needed wood pillars aren’t overused?
19:32, maybe not railings, but some spikes? Just to make sure no one falls, and for looks. Small spikes upwards. Maybe some with heads too, so they’ll look different.

If they didn’t build railings on something like the death star… raiders don’t get railings

Are there some horizontal chains or ropes for the bridges railings?
@wallywaldo5638 there might be, I'd have to look. The problem though is it would most likely be in the Kuro Tab mod which a lot of that doesn't snap. So it'd be grueling. I do have a fun idea though! 🫠

If you rail all the walkways it may look cluttered. Do you have the raider menu that came with the game? I may have just missed you using it. Very Nice raider habitat. I haven't corrected the issue I'm having with missing veggies in the food menu, that's going to be a lot of work, motivation is low in that regard because I have about 150 MODS all of which need to be disabled, then as I enable a few of the MODS I have to start FO4 and check that I have all the foods in the food menu and that there are no other issues. Then I have to quit FO4 and enable a few more MODS in the online Nexus web software. Rinse & repeat. That may take me who knows how many hours! and I've already spent a lot of time self teaching how to use Nexus MOD software then installing the 150 MODS, but I do have to say that I have enjoyed learning, installing the MODS and seeing the results in game. Thanks for the help, I at least now know where to start in trying to correct this issue.
