What a gorgeous stride! Would make a great eventer or show jumper after his race career if he makes it through healthy!

Lol 😅 I remember I experienced something like this ... During a race in the Caribbean a jockey fell off the horse in the starting gates and the horse went on to win that race plus doing 4 or 5 extra laps around the track full gallop until it had enough. It was amazing ‼️💯

Melly and me is having a great time, hes being very sensible though i bet hes saying look at me come on try to catch me, you catch me when im ready. GREAT.
I am glad he decided to stretch his legs for a while and have a good romp around the track. Then when he was finished he allowed them to capture him. Humans trying to run down a horse is most comical, you would think with their experience around horses they would know how to catch him.

They should of been playing the theme tune to the great escape , all ended well which is good , the horse was quite well behaved running around and doing nothing scatty , Emma gets a kiss at the end too !!!!

Nope we don't, there are only outriders if the US racers bring them over.
I absolutely love this....perhaps it was edited specifically to show the absolute contrast between a horse running free and the ones with riders on their backs for human entertainment and money ....

I know Europeans don’t believe in outriders, but perhaps a bucket of feed would have caught the horse’s attention….instead of waving their arms at the horse….wave a bucket of feed. It gets my mare in the trailer .

Because they were in the stalls already so if they took them out they probably wouldn't get them back in

@Michael Burkinshaw that's terrible. I have owned horses nearly 40 years and had several falls and had to walk back home. Never ever would beat my horse because of this.
Do you agree with this sort of treatment? I have had a couple of ex racers and one was terrified of men.
She had a severe behaviour problem and eventually had to be put down at the age of 6. I now have TB mare ex polo who was very nervous when she came to me over two years ago, but now is a total pipet. Horses in racing and polo are often mistreated, hence often end up in the wrong hands.
