Staggering the camera inputs was GENIUS! I wish they had this on the multi camera addons on my BCI module.

Nice kit, I'm sure it's not going to be cheap though. One thing I was thinking with the USB updater port on the back, provided there is room, is to plug in a USB extension cable, tuck it under the dash or run it to the console storage, would make updating the background or firmware way easier than pulling the whole kit back out.

Glad to see another option for folks like me who have a Ram. Comparing this new kit to others on the market that replace the whole center section with an Android interface, this one is less sexy. More function over looks. As Dean calls them, the "white box" radio competitor, simulates the new 12" screens in the new 2020 Rams, and everything is done through the dual screens instead of a small screen. Options are good though. I'm sure this kit isn't going to be cheap, as the competition isn't either. Way to go boys!
I just don’t trust the “white box” radios on the market right now. I recently bought a cheap Chinese non-radio part that was defective and it was a nightmare trying to get a refund. I also used to buy cheap Dual radios which usually went out in about a year. Back then it wasn’t a big deal ripping it back out but nowadays I prefer to do it right the first time even if it costs a bit more.

Curious to see how reliable the pac usb hubs are going to work with how finicky CarPlay and AA is with resistance from cable length. This is becoming a bigger problem. 1 of my solutions is wireless!

Would love to see a kit like this for the Dodge Charger. The factory radios are junk in those things. If you have one, hope that it breaks in warranty! That's all I can say until an aftermarket kit comes out.
I think at one point Metra had a kit which put an aftermarket radio underneath the stock radio (only if you had the smaller one) but it wasn't an ideal solution.

The 17 center console doesn't come apart like that. I know its something small but dont want others to think there all that way
I found THAT out the hard way... On the Big Horn 17's you don't remove the silver trim pieces around the basket/cup holder assembly as they are melted/fused in. You ONLY remove the two screws under the front cubby pad and the one 7mm under the bottom inside pad. Then pop the whole basket/center console unit out...
Have you installed a PAC C2R-CHY4 on 2005 dodge ram 1500 with a premium sound system. 7 speaker with amp steering controls but not the infinity system

It would be great if the USB Firmware Update Jack was accessible without having to remove the entire dash kit!!! ...maybe have it accessible when you pop out a small, inconspicuous panel cover, or a tiny, rubber, hinged door flap?

Cool kit, awesome to see there are options to replace the 8.4. probably should also mention that you will lose Uconnect Access (the phone app) when removing the stock unit. Also for the truck owner, that camera is bad, the halo around it means that water got inside and is vary common for these trucks, the image is probably blurry or not clear.

After a couple weeks Front Passenger door speaker as well as dash front passenger speaker suddenly stopped working simultaneously both.

I had problems with CZcams on other videos but this one ok.Iran just doing cyber attack on big satan(as they refer to US as).

So if I went to the infotainment 8.4 upgrade from the RA2 (5.0 UConnect) radio, the climate control would just mimic the manual controls on my dash. I wonder if that would be the same here, but I still have the other vehicle controls available... hmmmmmmm.. I checked PAC website they do not mention anything.. wonder if it would show trailer brake settings in the vehicle set up if you have it installed (like the stock radio).. Wish I lived closer I'd buy the kit fingers crossed so we could play with it (since you have experience with it already ; ) )

if i have an amplified premium system, does this allow for that to be bypassed so i can use my purchased decks sound and have full range signal going to all my speakers instead of the factory amps terrible crossovers for the doors and such. that is my biggest problem.
It does not look to bypass the factory Alpine amp, only integrate with it. If you want to bypass the factory Alpine amp you'll need to rewire your speakers. The factory Alpine amp is under the dash on the drivers side between the steering column and e-brake. You could tap in to the speaker wires there. Just know that you'll lose your sub if you go this route.

It's just crazy how manufacturers make the radio as updating as possible. Yet the consumer still wants something better .....

26:47 - Setting customers up for the ultimate disappointment when they realize they can't add an imagine because the USB is hidden on the back. I'd be tempted to just route a DMA6, hidden in the glovebox somewhere or under dash, as a standard install procedure should new updates ever role out or customer want to change their photo.
For some reason video stops on CZcams app on iPhone. But I was able to see it on CZcams website itself.
Never understood why they can’t put a standardized plug for the cable going to the new head unit and adaptor kit for the vehicle wiring harness. I’d pay the extra 13 cents it would cost.

Question is what functions did you lose, if any. The stock unit has some stuff like off road info and I’m wondering if I’d keep that with my Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX.
CZcams is still having issues errors out at about 2:00
It is really nice option, however would have to be tested to see if it's worth to loose entertainment and volume knobs, both i use extensively, the track list knob especially which has no steering wheel redundancy plus i have no way to see how the track list is handled in new radio. "Looks really good with the 2nd screen", but It would also help to have high quality comparison pictures somewhere on manufactures site to see the black levels, side fade and sharpness before spending 600 bucks, would hate to end up with washed out camera picture similar to aftermarket cams produce....4k video from maker showing good quality of back up picture and screen in general plus quick walk through menus would probably help many to decide

What up guys I got a 1999 grand marquis I have paid people to install a audio system in my car I have paid lots of money and still my car sounds like sheet now I'm trying to do on my own and for life of God I don't know ware to begin it would be nice if you guys would show a video of a car like my or something similar to that I have watched all of your video and still can't do it I have tried and failed I blue out my brand new speakers I have bought new ones but I'm scared to install them please guys need your help

Once you have wireless CarPlay, it’s hard to like cars without it. I’ll easily sacrifice the larger screen for the newer option. Now what WOULD be nice is if the new large screen Pioneers can be used with this kit.

I’m not the only one bring this up but Ram is not made by Dodge. It’s no more manufactured by Dodge than my F250 is by Chevy.
Huh? The Ram is made by Chrysler, or more specifically FCA, same as Dodge, Jeep and the few Chrysler- branded vehicles left. The Ram initially was called the Dodge Ram until they decided to split it off into its own brand.

I think he says Dodge Ram on purpose. There hasn't been a dodge ram made since 2008. It is a Ram Truck. There is near zero in common with the two truck any more.
It’s just a branding name change. The Ram is still a Chrysler, same as a Dodge is a Chrysler, both under FCA.
