    Are these press tools the same as say for viega pro press/mega press or are they a different diameter press?

    Can T joints be pushed deeper than the insertion depth? Need to add a T joint to an exiting pipe which cannot move, so it would need to slide deep enough to allot the T joint to slip over the other pipe

    What pipe cutter is used to carbon steel press fit pipe are they standard copper cutters?

      It's a standard pipe cutter equiped with a steel cutting wheel.

    Claiming faster I can understand but cheaper , cheaper than what than welded solutions ? i doubt it, unfortunately...

      Independent studies show that press-fit systems can in fact be much less expensive than traditional welded solutions. This is because they don't require consumables such as solder, flux, oxygen, acetylene and are much quicker and easier to install, helping to improve worksite productivity. It is estimated that using a press-fit system is 40% quicker - and up to 20% less expensive - than a traditional welded solution.

      It's cheaper when it comes to time. You can work faster, easier and whitout less problem, you can move faster to your next job. The tools and the fittings are expensive but you need less and smaller accessories. A Press Tool, some Press Jaws that's all. It's easier to transport, to store, no potential fire risk.
