Trying To be minimalist again. I'm really tired of thinking the themes & colours & etc for each months. This year I noticed that sometimes I was too busy to setup a month or I was setting up it on 5th or more. I think I was stressing out on the unnecessary things and not on the purpose of the Bujo which led to neglect it. It's not that I would not do any themes or doodling. But I want to keep everything simple and functional. You said your December is very simple but I like it the most. We all are growing & changing in our own way. I'm also changing alongside you. Have a happy Christmas dear.😘😘🖤💜🖤
I am going to be going to college in the fall, so I have to plan of spreads that will help me with my freshman year of college. I am also journaling in French as much as possible to help me learn the language.
Looking forward to it holding goals, better habit trackers, mood & health tracker, prayer & vision board. Will not be an appointment & daily task tracker or expense, will use phone & keep separate. Will be more positive outlook & hopeful vision.
You inspire me so much to just create simple and minimal themes... I always struggle with creating themes that other people are going to like, and not what I'm going to like, and I always go back to your videos just to remind myself that going minimal is the best choice. Thank you so much Cristina for being such an amazing inspiration for all the minimal bullet journalist out here. 💘
bujocat I completely agree with you no doubt about her finishing strong! I really like how you are the one that realizes she never has a really big theme but always finishing strong!
i love how simple, minimalistic yet beautiful your spreads are lately ♥ it's an inspiration for those days when we don't feel like doing something super fancy but still want/need to get things done. :)
I suggest tagging this as a minimalist set-up so that those seeking one can find it. Those who don't want to stamp can still get layout ideas. Your videos are beautifully produced. Thank you for sharing.
i've always preferred minimal, condensed set ups (especially for my weekly spreads) so this is a great inspiration for me! you really prove that simple layouts can still be aesthetically pleasing, without being so sparse that it's not functional anymore. hoping everyone's december goes well!
I’ve been using that weekly spread for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I put events + daily focus there and then the allistair method on the right for tasks. So quick to setup!
My plans for 2020 are: trying out a way to be more consistent with my bullet journal. I feel like I put a lot of pressure on me the past fee years, but I forgot the reason why I wanted to bullet journal. Also I want to make myself more aware of my life. I started my roaring twenties this year, and even tho it won’t be all perfect, I want them to be epic. It’s the only life I have and it’s super important to be aware of that. So I gotta start a bucket list.😅 What I expect in 2020 is a hole new chapter in my life. Or even better: I expect a sequel. I want to do more things, learn from mistakes, try again, and don’t let go. Thank you for those minimal spreads! It’s really mind clearing and helpful to focus more on the main thing!
I'm excited for your blog reboot, that's awesome! I really like your stamps in this leather cover. It's all very rustic-looking. I don't think Ill be starting a new journal in January as I started a new on in October. I'm not sure what to do for 2020... it seems wasteful to move into a new journal, but it's a new decade... wouldn't this be the time to start a new journal? *sigh* At least I have a month to deliberate. Thanks for this plan with me!
I am thinking of doing my planner for 2020 in a TN size and I really like the idea you mentioned of having several inserts. I would like that for other areas of focus in my life. I like watching people do creative cover pages and art throughout their planner, but mine is always like your December layout. It makes for a quick layout. I do art in other venues. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been thinking about changing up the way I bullet journal for 2020, but I couldn’t come up with a way that works the way I want it to. I can’t believe I didn’t think of a traveler’s notebook! That may end up being my perfect solution
This is my first video of you I watch and honestly I love it ??? So much??? Is so relaxing thg our narration and I love the way you make things look on your notebook 🤩🤩💕🌠 Imma look through ur channel for studying a LOT !!
I’m actually planning to do something very similar to what you described! I’m hoping to do a traveler’s notebook with an insert for weekly task lists, one for my monthly spreads, and another for journaling/ a commonplace book. 😁
Hey, I Really loved the video and the supplements you have used. Specially the stamps can you please help me with the 3 sizes of the stamp you used and from where did u get it. Please let me know I really really loved it and want to try the same.
Ugh, I can't decide on where to journal next year. I have a journal with dots and it has very bad pages and the dots are not aligned and it's a mess, but it's kinda cute; but I also have an amazing travellers thingy... the thing is, the weekly spread is pre-printed 🤔 I could swap that out for something else but that sounds like a waste. And it has such a good paper. 😭 Very cool, simple design tho! I always overdo my stamping haha
So nice and well planned. Where did our purchase all your stamps. I’m thinking of using the block method, would you use a bullet journal for this method?
Question. What is the graph paper template you use under the paper for keeping your lines in order? Also, for your stamps, are you using two different sized sets? One for your titles and another for the smaller print?
You inspire me with my bullet journal! I also plan on doing ornaments for my mood tracker and coolies for my calendar and habit tracker☀️ Do you recommend looking on Pintrest or not?
Hi, I’d like fo know where I can get the larger alphabet stamps (the ones you used for your headings) I see that the wooden set is for the smaller alphabet size? Also the gridline you were using for your tracing? Where can I get that as well Thanks
Do you find Wix to be better than Wordpress for a blog? I'm interested in launching a blog but can't really decided between the two. What are you thoughts?
Thank you for asking! I had been using WordPress for about 2-3 years for blogging and I can 100% say that for me, Wix is so much better. WordPress has a VERY steep learning curve, you have to install plugins for a lot of the things you want to do, it's not very intuitive and as a beginner you don't have much creative control. Sure, once you learn all the ins and outs and you get it to look how you want it, it's easy to write blog posts, and it's a good and reliable platform. But all the little things have made me stop blogging because any time I wanted to do something specific, I'd have to search for tutorials, etc, and it really took away the fun. With Wix on the other hand, you can start with one of their templates and then literally drag & drop stuff around to make it look however you want. It's super intuitive and the end result looks great. Most importantly, it makes it FUN for me which is the whole reason why I started blogging in the first place. So, regardless whether being sponsored by Wix or not, I wholeheartedly recommend them and wouldn't have worked with them otherwise! They have free plans too so you can try them out before making a decision. Hope this helps and good luck with your blog! ❤️
@@MyLifeinaBullet oooh I may have to seriously consider six now! I was concerned because I didn't know if it would really sit well with more text heavy posts. But your thoughts have really given me something to think about. Wordpress really does have a steep learning curve and I think that was holding me up. Thank you for your input and advice!
I'm glad I helped a little! you should also try searching for comparisons online, there are videos that compare the different platforms and different options. But in a nutshell, I do find WordPress very intimidating as a beginner, whereas with wix you can get it up and running in a very short time, and make it look exactly as you want. ❤️ good luck and maybe send me the link to your blog on IG once you decide! 😁
I think i love you old bullet journal style'-' Your style of bullet journal now is so minimalis, its look like note than bullet journal. Sorry, this is just my opinion...
oh that's totally okay! my bullet journal always changes depending on my needs etc, and each style reminds me of a different period in my life. I love experimenting and now I like keeping my bujo minimal and decorating in my daily journal. I'll share some of those spreads in the future as well! 💕
What are your plans for your 2020 planning/ journaling setups? Let's brainstorm together! 👇
Doing a reading list❤️❤️
