    First Friday is an art and culture event located in the Arts District in Las Vegas. They have art exhibits, booths with art for sale, live music, and food trucks. It can get quite busy and packed especially the lines for the food trucks so be prepared for that.
    Top of Binion's Steakhouse is an old school steakhouse located on the 24th floor of the Binions Casino. It has been open for decades and has vintage decor and excellent views of downtown from up there. The menu is also quite affordable and much cheaper compared to steakhouses on the strip. All the steaks come with a side and a vegetable.
    For our dinner tonight we ordered the Grilled Caeser Salad for $13, The Short Rib Mac 'N' Cheese for $18, The Cowboy Steak which was a 24oz Ribeye for $65 that included asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, and for dessert the Baked Alaska for $14. The total was just a little bit over $100 for everything.
    Overall the food here was good, the service was prompt, and the bartender who served me was welcoming, friendly, and polite. My favorite dish this evening was the Short Rib Mac N' Cheese. I ate here a few months ago and ordered a couple different dishes than what I ate here today. I made a video of it too but didn't provide any commentary on it, but the food I had then was good as well. Here's a link to my previous video at Binion's Steakhouse: • Top of Binions Steakho...

    Thanks for heading to Binion's again yep that steak house does rule and I loved the swipe you took at Harlow's remember it was my suggestion for you to head up there LOL😋😋😋😋oh and the art's district was great and yes I know about the English hotel Travel Ruby had it on her channel, it's cool that they have food carts in Las Vegas here in Oregon we have them everywhere n the Portland metro area we have great food up here thanks gain for another video.😋😋😋😋

      Haha, I might give Harlo another chance in the future. Maybe it was just an off night for them but it was really expensive there for the amount of food you get. I could eat at Binions two or three times for just one meal at Harlo haha. Haha, I don't blame you at all for suggesting that place! It was a great suggestion and I really wanted to try it out too haha.
      I've been to Portland once last year and had alot of fun exploring everywhere, but the amount of homeless people was pretty scary. I've never seen so many tents set up in the middle of the street before especially in the Chinatown area. And it was when there were alot of riots going on and alot of stores were boarded up. But I went during the spring and the cherry blossoms by the waterfront were really beautiful. And at the time most restaurants dine in wasn't allowed so I had to order to go, but everything I ate was great. I had the best Mac and Cheese at this restaurant in downtown Portland but I cannot remember the name of it. I also noticed all those food carts while walking around the city but did not eat at any of them. Next time I will definitely try some of those out.

    This was a nice look back in time. I used to frequent the place late 80's till 2005 ?.. That was before his daughter sold off the 10,000 bill Million $$$ display was sold off 2015 ?. You did a great review. Binnions salad chefs could w/only one hand tied behind their backs beat any others. The Food, the Service & the view from the "Deuce In The Corner": Exceptional. Really a rare treat in today's restaurant world. I'm glad to hear your report. Most of it is still there. Next Visit, tell the staff uncle mike in Ct says you will wait for that special seating.

      Wow, you used to go there alot! It is definitely a gem in downtown Vegas! Yes, alot of the staff has been working there for decades and have so much experience. I will definitely mention your name next time I'm there and hopefully I can get that special seat with the view!

      It was such a huge flame I was scared I was gonna be caught on fire haha. It was a little bit different than a regular flambé in that they didn’t put any alcohol in it to create that big flame instead they poured cinnamon haha.

    Thank you for this. This is why these videos are so helpful. I have always wanted to eat here and was disappointed when this closed for a few years. But I hate when places do not accommodate customers' request - how dare they do not give you one lobster tail for $35. Totally turns me off. I will not be going here. Cheers!

    Hey Bansan, Yeah, this was a MUCH BETTER meal than your visit to Harlo's ( in Summerlin ). I thought that "Baked Alaska" dessert was entertaining and good too ! Thanks :)

      Yes, I was definitely much more satisfied eating here than I was at the other steakhouse for sure! It was much cheaper, better views, and better service. And that flambe dessert was super entertaining too! It was like a dinner and a show haha.

    Otro gran video, amigo! I love the revisit of a place: then we can not only see other menu items, but whether the quality stayed the same on the second time around! That steak had me salivating.

      I plan on eating at Barrys Prime before the end of the month! I might order the baked Alaska to compare but it’s also twice as expensive at $32 haha. The other desserts there look great too. If i don’t get the baked Alaska I would get the banana cream pie or the campfire s’mores.

    I am so bummed this place is close xmas week for my birthday. Hopefully Jack Binion's at Bally's is a close knock off. My favorite place in vegas

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Před rokem

      It stinks it won’t be open for your birthday! I ate at Jack Binions a few months ago and they gave me a steak that was way too rare in the middle, but other than that it was pretty good. It’s also much more expensive than the Top of Binion’s steakhouse and none of the sides are included. Top of Binion’s steakhouse is such good value since the steaks include the vegetable and a side and great views of the city from up there too. Also when I went to Jack Binion’s they did not have any complimentary bread service but they told me they would add that in the future so they may have it now.

    Go somewhere new there are at least four other steakhouses you could've tried that you haven't been to before

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Před rokem +2

      Haha, very true! There are so many steakhouses in Vegas it’s a daunting task to try them all haha. I only wanted to revisit this place because my original video didn’t have any commentary so there was a lot of things I wanted to say about it haha. But don’t worry, I am planning on going to a new steakhouse once a week now so you will see alot more of those videos. My next steakhouse video will be of SW steakhouse in the Wynn and I’ll probably post that this weekend
