  • Is there a movement I think almost everyone can benefit from?
    Absolutely, the "AiM Squat" which isn't really a Squat, but instead is a partial squat-like movement that encourages better action and interaction of almost all the joints throughout the body.
    The person doing these only has to think about 2 things.
    1- sink through the middle of the foot, keeping the foot relaxed and feeling for the arches to flatten and spring back
    2- Head up, eyes forward
    The body will figure out the rest for itself
    In fact, the more you try to control the body through this movement, the less effective it will be and the exercise becomes worthless.
    You see we cannot consciously control 200+ bones with who knows how many joints, or the 600+ named muscles.
    Sure, most of us can barely spell our own names some days!!
    So relax, when the body is allowed to move freely and you simply look after the very top (head) and very bottom (foot) it'll start to find it's own way.
    And your body knows how to move better than you or I could ever imagine.
