Aadi-Deva Namastubhyam Prasiida Mama Bhaskara :
“Salutations to you, the primordial God. Please be gracious to me, O Sun God," is a respectful greeting to the ancient Sun God, asking for kindness and blessings. It recognizes the Sun God as the original deity and asks for help, guidance, and protection in life
    Divakara Namastubhyam Prabhakara Namostu Te:
"Salutations to you, O maker of the day. Salutations to you, O bright one," is a respectful greeting to the Sun God, acknowledging his role in bringing daylight and his brilliance. It expresses admiration for the Sun God's light and energy.
The Surya Ashtakam is a hymn dedicated to the Sun God, Surya, found in a sacred text known as the Samba Purana. This text is part of the Saura Upapuranas, which focus on the worship of Lord Surya. It recounts the tale of Samba, the son of Krishna, who faced a curse of leprosy from Rishi Durvasa. Samba's healing came through his devotion to Surya at the Konark temple, built along the Chandrabhaga river in Mitravana. This prayer holds significant power in the realm of Navagraha prayers dedicated to Lord Surya.
I offer my salutations to you, O ancient Lord and creator of the day,
Who brings light to the world,
I bow to you and ask for your grace and blessings.
