Man, I am not someone who really "gets" dance, but there's something about Jimin's dancing that really gets me. It's so clear how much dancing means to him.

@@zuzu6864 He is one of the best in the world; he’s a dance prodigy - spoken by experts - he can dance virtually anything; he’s hip hop trained, classically trained, he integrates his martial arts into his dancing, his body lines are incredible, as well as his control of every part of his body. There are few out there in the world who are capable of that. He’s created his OWN genre of dance; nobody could copy his style…not like him, because it’s HIS style, his aesthetic. So again, he is one of the best in the world. This (and his unique voice) is what he’s most famous for.

I'm a dance junkie and im very, very judgy on how people dance. Jimin is a very versatile dancer with great transitions. While the others in the dance line are very good, Jimin embodies dance, regardless of style, and brings the story to life through his dance moves and the emotion he evokes.
Yes! His transitions are beautiful. I don’t know if this will make sense, but it feels like he dances the music, not just the choreo. I don’t know how else to explain it, but I love it. And don’t get me started on his lines. And yes, I’m very judgy as well. He’s a special one.

One thing out of many that I notice about Jimin is that when he’s dancing it feels like he’s in his own little world and totally immersed in it…from their debut it was more jimin just dancing the choreo but a few years after debuting instead of “dancing” to the choreography given…he “wears” the choreography if that makes sense😆

I heard some professional dancers say that Jimin dances with barely controlled chaos. He takes it right to the edge of being out of control and then just pulls it back a fraction. Jimin practiced Kendo for 8 years and has a black belt in TKD as well as some dabbling in other martial arts.

Jimin's solo Black Swan in dreamlike under water is from BTS ON:E online concert they did during pandemic because they had to cancel the tour.

Jimin is so captivating, he was the first member that caught my attention because of the charisma and presence he holds on stage. I could watch him dance all day, any style (but his sensual fluid contemporary skill are my fave). He is beautiful and so hardworking, and this kind of dedication to his craft is very admirable. I cant wait for Jimin to return to us, for BTS to reunite and create amazing stage shows again 💜

Thanks. Jimin was trained in hip hop and competed in street battles and won many. In the arts high school, he was a top student (his teachers really didn't want him to go into idol music. They said the world lost a great artist) and did folk, jazz, ballet, and contemporary. He had a very short time to learn K-pop style dance and had the shortest training , 6 months, prior to debuting in BTS.

Taemin is in a group named Shinee and also a solo performer. My husband calls him the sexy voiced guy, his dancing is fabulous. Taemin and Jimin are good friends.

I like Jimin in full packed 😋 but if I have to choose I like contemporary dance side then hip hop, bc he is really fluid and greacful. But I also love when he does special moves, some jumping, some flips, etc. Yeah watching him dance is always a treat.
He actually doesn't do only contemporary, he mixed-up different styles together, that's why nobody can copy his style. He's versatile.

The orchestral version of Black Swan actually came out first as an art film (they had a Slovenian dance troop perform their own interpretative choreo) before we experienced the original version of Black Swan , but as a live performance on the James Corden show (it was so good). So technically we haven’t heard the real track until without warning, they did a surprise music video drop, which was finally the official music video for Black Swan that you guys first saw. The orchestral video one (BTS not in it) is like an art film, it’s kinda wild heh. If you wanna see it, search Black Swan Art Film Performed by MN Dance Company.

Your question of what's the favourite of his dance... CAN'T PICK! it's like asking which's the best BTS song....
Jimin's dance is so unique because of the mix of his 8 years of martial arts training, plus being the top contemporary dance student in school, then learnt popping locking hip hop dances in middle school when he attended Just Dance Academy. I can't think of any other male/female artist who has these up in their sleeves.
He is a black belt in both Kendo and Taekwondo, he also did Hapkido, Chinese Martial Arts. He can be the most elegant angel but kill you with one kick! XD
On top of that, his personality, his vocals and how he numerous times nailed gender-neutral outfits - it's just no way anyone can copy him.
The one thing that always makes me sad is Jimin suffers from chronic neck/back muscle pain... It's not hard to find behind-the-scenes clips where you can see him with elastic tapes after intense dances/schedules. Yet, he always endures, smiles through the pains & keep going. That's why he's being recognised by the members as the most hardworking one. How can someone hate him, I can't understand.

At some point, you both must have become 3 earth sign members (RM, V and Jungkook) fans :) i see just them in your thumbnails even when they aren't the best in that particular song so I avoided your channel. You watched the draft version of Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari, where she hadn't included Jimin’s martial arts bit. Later she added it. But she didn't include his academic records (RM IQ she included) and only included Jungkook’s track athletics (Jimin does that too and he is the first one in the BTS relays which makes it easier for Jungkook to finish first in the final). You don't seen to know much about Jimin which is understandable. As far as i know his predebut years (like his school mates, teachers) are more known than other members. So there's a lot we know about his early years. He is a stand out human and his old friends say he hasn't changed much. He is the same kind and sweet person, He was a top student and class President for 9 years too. And along with J Hope they are the biggest donors in BTS since their debut years. But Jimin donates quietly and regularly. We only get to know about some when recipients talk about it.
The Rise of Bangtan is good but you need to watch every BTS content to get the full picture of every member.

you can really tell the evolution that jimin had even tho he was already so talented, but he kinda evolved in a way which eventually affected (positively imo) his dance line and stage presence

Yes, Jimin is martial art trained. He trained in several martial arts for over eight years-including Kendo/Kumdo and Taekwondo, for which he achieved a black belt. Jungkook also holds a black-red belt (advanced) in Taekwondo. He also boxes. Not as well known is that Jin also has a black belt in Taekwondo
Jimin actually has often problems with his back and neck because of his intens dancing since childhood.

Unfortunately the blurred out areas were from BTS performing at Seo Taiji's concert in 2017. That was the "Time Traveler 25" concert. If you recall, Seo Taiji is the rock/metal musician that is considered the Father of KPop. His youtube channel SEOTAIJI had recently (within the past couple years) been blocking content, which he had never blocked before that, as he had transferred that content he had on his youtube channel to such companies like Apple TV, as to make profit from them, even though the content was on youtube for free for about the past 5 years prior. He took down that content or at least hid it on his channel probably near end of 2022. Any other channel who was copying clips of that specific content were blocked or struck, I think. So for this dance video to blur those scenes is hopefully one safe way to avoid getting blocked itself. Hopefully you will eventually react to Seo Taiji's other content, such as his early 1990's hiphop-rock band (the one that influenced what would become the KPop industry to start) & also his metal band from the Y2k era, etc.

Great stuff. Taemin is a great dancer too from group Shinee. They are good friends. You should watch Taemin's Guilty and for its promotion they both did dance challenge for Guilty which you can watch in Shinee yt channel. Taemin was in Suga's Suchweta too.
Jimin is a legend, one of a kind, the most versatile dancer. Everyone who meets him in real life always calls him kindest and loveliest.

Additionally, J-hope and Jimin set the bar and the style(s) for the other 5 to reach. Luckily those 5 worked at it and brought their levels up to match them to the where they blend and all work together. What Jimin has is that he dances whole body from tip of head to his toes and why no one can imitate him (or his voice). Also, I just got finished watching K-Pop Legendary competition. What I saw in other Idol groups is somewhat robotic dancing with their arms and feet forgetting everything in the middle for the most part. And not nearly as fast paced and energetic. That's what makes BTS' choreo the most difficult In KPop history, not to mention sensual.

So Teamin is senior to BTS he is from group called Shinee, they are 5 years longer in industry then BTS, strong group, very nice and talented.
Teamin is actually maknae of his band but he is the same age as Suga.
He is singer -dancer, and he is in top best dancers on industry, he has very good solo carrier too.
He and Jimin are good friends, they are very similar in aura, like style of dance, and smoothnes, sexy, but I would say Jimin is more sexy+delicate moves hmm 🤔 and Teamin is more sexy+hard moves. But they also also very similar bc Team also is very quiet, cute and chill, but on stange - hell is opening. Sweet person, you can easy see why him and Jimin click.
He is very alternative in his work, so I think you would like his solo music, especially from art point - his video's.

yes, it was RM's voice , he said "Tell them bangtant is dancing on the floor". It's the famous intro quote of the very first 3J break dance practice you can find of you tube. A lot of Armys have asked the question about the song under the dance practice video, but there is no answer...:/ Maybe some OG Army knows....
