I stiched this bag .It is looking very nice.I l liked it very much.
I can follow this bc I have experience with making tote bags but mixing cm with inches is a little difficult bc I have to take the time to decipher differences between the two but all in all this is a great tote tutorial for an experienced person

Did you trim off some of the fabric ? Because if yiu add a zipper to the main fabric piece then that piece of inn be longer than 12.5 inches. So the side pieces will have to be a little longer than 12.5 inches to be the same length…I’m thinking either you cut off some fabric for the main pieces or the side pieces are a little longer than 12.5 inches??? Hoping you respond. Tfs. It’s a beautiful bag. I’m just a little confused about sizing.
Can you only use open ended zippers or can be you use regular zips for the projects you make please
