My Russian friend brought Ghost peppers to school in 7th grade, my Mexican friend ate a tiny piece and just ran, many children were sent to the nurse. it was great.

Actually, he probably Wasn't lactose intolerant at the time. Someone can become lactose intolerant at any point in their life. Similarly, someone that is may suddenly stop being lactose intolerant. Though I believe that's a rarer thing.

Rewatching this I just had the surreal experience . I lost my brother in a car crash and I got the call informing me of that fact while I was in midtown Manhattan. My best friend came and met up with me and we got in a cab to go back to our apartment. Lo and behold it was the chattiest cabby I have ever encounter in NYC. As we waited in traffic he monologued endlessly about the various tribulations that he had faced and about all his problems and the absurdity of the regulations on the taxi industry. My friend turned to me and asked if I wanted him to say something to get the cabby to stop talking. I told him no because…”it’s the only thing keeping me here”. Since that moment, I have used that phrase during multiple moments of extreme challenge without ever realizing that I had cribbed it from Link staring at a receptacle. Wild
I understand completely and I am sorry for your loss. I just posted above. Rhett and Link bring some laughter and enjoyment to my otherwise extremely painful and abuse-filled life. When I hurt so much, I watch Rhett and Link. God, my kids, my family and friends and things like this are what keeps me here.
