Ah, I love this minigame! The references to Luigi's Mansion are a great inclusion, I love the first-person perspective and how you can see the other player walking around the room with their flashlight, all of the characters hidden in specific areas, the beginning and end sequences, the atmosphere...! Forever a classic.

@@Eeveeismypatronas The thing that puzzles me is that they can easily redo the minigame with some tweaks (y'know, move with the L stick, turn the camera with the R stick, confirm with A) but Nintendo seems to dislike Mario Party 8 and won't bother remaking anything from that game. I understand MP8 used motion controls heavily but there are minigames that can be redone with button controls! :')
I'm MAD that this isn't in "Mario Party Superstars"! Seriously, Nintendo. All you had to do was adjust the controls, and we could've had this game in Superstars. But NO! It's very weird of you to not like one of your own games...

According to the Mario wiki, a picture was taken of the winner and loser with the eleven characters, and then it zooms out of the picture with the ghosts back in the haunted house.
