A couple of months ago we tackled the first game in a series that I have loved since I was a kid, and now it's time for the sequel and one of my favourite games ever made? However will it still be top 5 games for me? Or will my tattoo be meaningless now... well there is only one way to find out, by grinding all Achievem-- sorry. Trophies, in Ratchet and Clank 2!

Hitting me in the childhood with this one. Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando was one of the first games I played a lot when I was young and one of the first games I beat to the end. Glad to see it here.

I would like to see that too, did not enjoy it myself when playing with a friend. However, it would be fun to see someone go through it all to at least appreciate the reasons people find it enjoyable.
That is a very, very long grind lol. Took me a 1,000 hours.

This took me back, played this game sooooo much growing up, this, Sly Fox, and Battlefront 2 were the pillars of my early childhood
If you didnt know, you can cheese the giant robotfight with the evolved spiderbot. Just find a corner where he cant reach you and just shoot at his feet with the bot!! I found the cheese when i was a kid, dont remember where the safe-spot for ratchet was...

Playing through the Trilogy because of these vids and managed to clear all arena challenges on first visit to Maktar just to see if i could.
Since i had no Clank and only weapons up to the Blitz Gun, it took a while but i headbutted it enough to win.

I don't remember the bike being so rough myself but I also remember playing it on ps2 so maybe my memories are clouded by time or nostalgia.

Well since you asked for what you should be playing next... going to have to once again say Neir Automata. Great story, great combat, some really weird stuff, and an amazing sound track.
Any thoughts on playing ratchet deadlocked? Tbh its the only ratchet game i've ever played, but i've never seen or heard of anyone else playing it. It is true that its really different from ratchet and clank since its about ratchet being kidnapped and forced to participate in a death gameshow. Plus clank is purely a command center support and doesn't join ratchet on his journey towards escape (instead you get two mildly annoying attack droids).
I did play this game on ps 2 demo discs haaaaa old day's 😢!

What about Outer Wilds Achievement Grind? This game has one of the BEST story and the way to present it i ever seen. And this game need more attention.

While all the ratchet games have problems, they are all brilliant, each in the own way (except size matters and secret agent clank, fuck those)

You should try grinding the kingdom hearts games
I'm surprised that you didn't use the hidden teleporter on Boldan to get to the Insomniac museum, it's way faster than buying all the weapon upgrades once you know where to go. There's the known way where you stand on a fountain at a set time but you can actually find a small building by itself with a wall you can go through during the powerline grinding segment. I guess it's a glitch but at the same time, they did put a teleporter in a random hidden room with enemies so they anticipated we'd find it.
you should add a timer to show how long it takes you to do all of these.
