If you're using Google Domains the default is "@" for the "Host Name" field, so leave it blank. Inputting the "@" symbol in Google Domains will give you an error.

its in the settings, you have to purchase a domain or begun a free trial, you can find the page to the right of your website under domain

Would have been useful to show what plan (through GoDaddy) is required to work for this. I chose the .99 for the first year offer and I'm not sure if its working. Does it take awhile for it to register and redirect to my site? Any help would be appreciated.

Actually figured it out! Was somehow on the templates section of the DNS settings, everything is working properly now

@@pekahbeatz one I got it on the right settings I think it was about 12 hours. If I recall correctly my issue was the DNS settings, I was in the template section rather than actually editing it
do you pay for hosting as well? I tried activating ssl with namecheap but it isn't working. I think it may be because I didn't set up a hosting plan. any help with this would be highly appreciated.
I followed the same steps you showed in the video but it was a lot more complex with the other provider.

its called a flavicon, you can change it in the beat stars pro page in the studio or change it with your domain provider in the settings as well just look for flavicon

Did you figure it out? I'm in the same boat and didn't find any info in the help section.
I tried to follow your steps, but my DNS provider won't accept "@" symbol in Host Name. My host is Wix by the way.

Hi, most Host/Domain providers charge for custom domains.
Is it really necessary to have a domaine?
It's not required to have a custom domain. You can just use your domain we give you if you prefer.

I would be weary of using GoDaddy for domains. I paid to have a domain for 3 years and It didnt show up in my account afterwards. As I talked to customer support, they never actually claimed domain and told me this was a common issue many users had. Thankfully I locked the domain down with another site hosting platform before pushing for a refund, because I learned they love to take domain names to try and sell it back to you at a hefty price. If you dont plan on spending much for site hosting, AVOID GODADDY
