60 bpm / 120 / 240 / etc all corespond to seconds, minutes, hours... that's why it's so easy to play and edit. You can use an analog clock as a metronome.

I'm so glad I foumd this when I did. Me and my friend were trying to write a song and we needed some sort of beat since I play guitar and she plays saxophone, weird combo but we make it work. Thanks to this we were able to write stuff a lot faster. The song is just about done thanks to this, thanks so much!

Yes if your time signature is 4/4. You have 3 1/4ths = 3/4th and two 1/8ths = 1/4th so you have 4/4.
