I love making these new season trend videos because not only do I like uncovering the new season fashion trends but I love hand picking the most wearable of them all to share with you. Don't get me wrong I love high end fashion but at the end of the day it's just not practical for most of us to buy let alone wear. So that's why I prefer to focus on the pieces that most of us will be able to incorporate into our daily outfits. Of course I'm not expecting you to love all of these trends but I'm hoping there are a few that you love. Oh and on that not I'd love to know which of these new Fall fashion trends you could see yourself wearing in the comments below. No to low rises forever and ever and ever! I’m going to stock up on some high rise classic pants until this round of low rises is behind us 😂
No one over 35 is ever going to be forced back into those low rises we still have ptsd from the last time.

I'm almost 6' and my inseam is 36" I got to Western Jean's to get my legs, since I love a stacked leg look. You can't ride a horse without extra pant room. My mother made my clothes when I modeled as 14yo and length was never a problem. But now I'm 62yo and will never wear low rise cut pants, that feel like they're falling off. I love military meets polo club 😍
As a fellow tall woman, I say hoorray for puddle pants! We might actually get some quality trousers that reach below our ankles now. Not so great for sustainability though - most of these are going to go in the bin after a month because the hems will be tattered.
Fashion shows are usually 6 mos ahead of season then trickles to the stores.
I love the look of “puddle pants”-they photograph as so glamorous!-but how practical are they, really? In most (all?) settings, they are a tripping hazard, and the hems are inevitably going to be dirtied, frayed, and ultimately destroyed from contact with the ground. Great for that Instagram photo, but not for actual, you know, wearing as clothes.

I so agree! I live in a wet climate, so they are going to be soggy, too! You lose the look when they are wet and flopping about unglamorously. Ugh. No way!!

Great review. I am not going back to the low rise pants. Never did like that look. Always feel like they are sliding down. Saw too many back sides.
If I still had the body that I had in my 20s I wouldn't mind. These days I need at least mid-rise. Since I'm short, I can easily make petal pushers out of a lot of pants.

It’s not at all too soon to talk fall fashion forecasts for me! In fact, just last week I decided that I wouldn’t be making any more purchases of summer apparel & that I would officially be going into pre-fall mode! I’m pretty pleased to see that bright colors will be around another season, but I also tend to gravitate towards black, as well. Glad to see faux leather and wide-legged, longer length trousers will be on trend. Love those! Keep the fall trend forecasts coming!

Naomi Love getting your videos all about fashion. I would love love to see an episode on New Zealand and maybe Australian designers. What really prompted this is that I was thinking of a kilt have not worn one in over 30 years and because they are half pleats and the fashion is pleated skirts, I googled searched and I found this amazing cargo utility kilt, it was right up my ally for the type of work I do which is an event Floral designer and the usage of tools is a daily occurrence cargo style came into play. I wore it to work one day and the whole team girls and boys flipped over it, the boys/men are wearing kilts to work. HA HA
We are going through a heatwave here in the UK at the moment. I cannot even think about jackets and sweaters at the moment, but I appreciate this video. 😂😂😂
Thanks for the trend update. I love maxi's even though I'm petite, I've always worn them. I LOVE leather jackets, I sort of have a small obsession with them.😅 I do love the classic style but I love a sporty style as well and I do a little bit of mixing of the two styles and I love it. I am more of a fan of tonal dressing of more subtle colors however, I love bright pink, so I think I will mix some of those pieces in from time to time. Its high rise or no rise for me....forever! I feel that high rise makes everyone look longer and leaner too. Also, I will probably never wear the very skinny jeans ever again either. They are just not as comfortable. I like dressing not only fashionable but for comfort too. 🤩

I only wear classic styles, so the “corporate”, or tailoring trend is the only one that really interests me here. But, of course, I’m never getting rid of my Stuart Weitzman OTKs with flattish heels. As for maxi length, that’s what most midis turn out to be on short me, anyway! I always love pleated skirts of any length.
I’m the opposite Kimberly - I find it hard to get a true maxi on me and often have to take hems down 🤦🏻♀️

Got my running shoes because I am ready to run in the other direction. sigh! I have been watching some of the Fall virtual runways on FF/fashion feed CZcams videos. Not looking forward to the cooler season. I would never get rid of a denim jacket unless maybe if I have a very close duplicate. I am a big fan for genuine leather pants and jackets. It would be a dream come true to thrift a leather blazer, it such a different look from leather mottos. I so love that the classic suiting will still be vibe this Fall/Winter because I have a huge collection of them by thrifting and they are such versatile pieces to wear together or with other pieces. As a dog owner I love the sporty trend, here in Sweden we always have very much sporty clothes overall since we spend a lot of time outdoors, well at least most of us. I can't help but like that black is back! But isn't brown a big color too?
A couple of these are perennials for me: i.e. leather/faux leather and biker boots!

I'm over Winter! Its been so dreary that for a fortnight now I have been dreaming about what I will wear on the tropical holiday I have planned for October. I was interested to hear you mention the all black looks you saw on the runway. I'm currently lusting after Cecilie Bahnsen inspired looks. I bought a little black open back cotton poplin peplum top (from Far Fetch 50% sale section) to go with my Ganni black shorts. I also got a beautiful pure white cotton poplin big dress which has the effect of being two piece since the bodice is separated from the full skirt with long spaghetti thin ties that you wrap around yourself. I would also like to have some orange outfits!

Great video! In New England, we tend to go from hot to really cold very quickly (and back again in Spring) so Spring and Fall clothes have gone largely unworn since i moved here. I've always loved dresses and skirts with boots in Fall and Winter. Are you seeing maxis being worn with booties a lot? That would be my preferred. I have minis that i wear in Winter over leggings x

I'm enjoying the extra high rise pants. They can keep anything lower. I have a very long waist and they just cover my belly button. Finally, I have pants that don't feel like they're only half way pulled up.

Nordstrom (U.S.) had some slimmer cut ones. I would avoid those that puff out around the waist and then have an elastic band.

The only trend I'm not thrilled about is above-the-knee boots. I'm short and curvy so I'd probably look like the boots are trying to swallow me. Everything else I either already have or can scour Ebay for.
