Chen..two habitual gamblers gambled that they could get a massive payout by doing something stupid..is that unexpected? The question you need to be asking is not if he was being a good friend... what kind of society is Taiwan that would allow two people to gamble to such extremes? If they are capable of taking action on insurance fraud, surely they should be able to take action against gambling on crypto? I am not asking for a ban on crypto.. i expect any developed country to be able to differentiate between people who are risking their saving vs people gambling on borrowed money. Use this as an example not only to deter insurance fraud.. but to learn and implement ways to protect the gullible on risky investments.
