I'm really enjoying these reviews after finding the channel recently. The presenter uses pauses to good effect, bringing a relaxed vibe to the videos. Actually quite therapeutic to listen to. No plans to arrive at the decision to get motorhome, but enjoying the journey!
Glad you like them!
Great review but spoiled by too many adverts.
Dude you’ve had a makeover and looking mighty fine knocked a few years off 😍 Oh and nice review as always
Thank you!
6 adverts!!!! Ruins the presentation !!
As does the advertising banner across the bottom of the screen.
Our own older Cathargo has lounge lighting that dims or brightens if you press the switch down persistently.....I wonder if this van has same arrangement, and you didn’t realise? Great review, thank you
That van is a bit like my wife, she started of cheap, but became very expensive,
Very nice van a bit long for me though, thanks for a great review
Glad you liked it. Carthago does make some smaller 'vans and narrower ones, too. Maybe you'd prefer a C-compactline?
Very good explanation... No one says so clearly... Thank you
Thank you. Don't forget to subscribe, so that you see all our reviews
Love theses reviews so glad they have increased in length. Could you do a review of the new auto trail gf-88
Funnily enough, I've just filmed that. Watch this space...
@@peterv3642 I like the sound of that:)
"Cathargo." Sorry. Can"t help it, because it made me giggle every time you said it Mr. Vaughan.
enjoyable review TY just subb'd
Thanks. Glad you liked it
this one had me sold until I found out there was no privacy door for the bedroom. hopefully the manufacture will put a sliding pocket door on future model.
@MotorhomeCampervan I love these C Tourers. Will you be reviewing the new 145 RB LE soon, in either A class or semi integrated? This is my current favourite as I think the 7m ish length will be better for us.
Hopefully, when one lands in the UK!
Best emi integrated van on the market being a merc says it all need to work harder next 4 years my full time living van 2 birth only 😆
Far too many adverts exacerbated by the number of times you see the model badge.
The Germans know what they are doing
Very nice
In this case, they certainly do
Its a great satnav ! Road not mapped. 😂😂
Road not mapped comes up a lot when you're on a campsite!
definitely need privacy door on rear bedroom that still allows people sleeping in the front access to the toilet.
Can you move the table? Would drive me nuts.
You can move it but not remove it
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Peter , like your reviews normally but did you not find the rattling unacceptable at this price , which were clearly heard in the review.
Also 33k in options , sounds like the manufacturers are slackening the customers belt ready for a thorough tromboning .
From memory it was a lot more rattly than the Hymer WhiteLine I've just tested. I'm afraid you get too accustomed to rattles in this job! None at all in the Ford Nugget Plus that I'm driving this week, though.
As for options, many of the German brands do it this way - a false entry price and a LONG options list. Ignore the base price and look at what dealer stock vehicles cost instead.
"This MB UX Display gives you a great Sat Nav" - meanwhile on screen ROAD NOT MAPPED. 😅
Because it was a campsite, not a road.
Peter is clearly a very wealthy fella the way he nonchalantly ticks all the extras on top of the huge 80K plus price….meanwhile in the real world 🤔
Oh, I wish. But in the real world most motorhome manufacturers are sold out for the rest of the 2022 model year and nobody ever buys a Carthago without a whole list of expensive options. Sadly, no new Mercedes Carthago on my drive, though....
Can I drive this on a normal car license
The model I tested was on a 4,500kg chassis, so you'd need a C1 category licence. In theory, you can buy this vehicle with a 3,500kg gross weight but you'd have to spec it carefully to have a sensible payload.
Weights - and a lot more - are explained in a new publication "Buying Your Perfect Motorhome" which is about to go on sale from outandaboutlive.co.uk - it's a great read if you're new to motorhoming.
Mercedes class a steering wheel as an optional extra.
Almost true!
Weird shower really...but. all in all. Looks. Good
No microwave ?
German 'vans hardly ever have them because in their homeland they tend not to stay on sites, so don't have access to 230V
@@peterv3642 thanks for your reply Peter. I love your motorhome reviews, keep the comming.
£1800 for a remap
I would be too scared to drive this vehicle over£110.000 🤔
Not as scary as some of the liner A-classes at 2.40m wide, 9m long and £250,000-plus!
Don't like first, Bathroom integral shower and set-up (separates better); No privacy bedroom to lounge; Actually too long (7 metres or less better); and price (ouch!). Likes - Mercedes but options which most of are desirable kills the total price. Not bothered; 2, 4 or 5 berth but if bought this would factor this in price! Preference would be to keep under 3500Kg to avoid C1 driving licence issues but that I suggest would limit options available to buyer. Pity, but a nice van.
Yes, it's a lovely 'van, if pricey. On a Merc it's really hard to deliver a realistic motorhome at under 3,500kg but I do like this new Sprinter chassis. Let's see how much Fiat have improved with the Series 8 Ducato
Too expensive. Too many adverts.
It's a lot of money but it's a lot of 'van, too
Sounds a bit creaky.
I'd rather have the Bailey Adamo.
You could have two! In reality, both are good but VERY different
there is an add baner, that covers 10% of the screen... and can't be removed.
you really don't respect your viewers...
It helped to pay for some of our content but it's gone from all our newer videos
I love this RV but i hate the accents. It is like he is about to lose his breath. It was so hard listening while he talks!
Mr Boring
Presumably you're not interested in motorhomes, then?
@@peterv3642 oh i am just your boring with your measures always this 1.5 2.45 your just boring
