@@nomadrvs , I really like the extra seating to allow 3rd person sleeper, swivel seats, queen mattress size . Large "garage" In essence , like the streamline set up. I like that theres no built in stovetop, because i prefer more counterspace since I would use it for local , casual getaways . Fine work you do!

impressive. clean and neat. pretty good price considering its built on a mercedes and has 600 W of lithium, solar, etc . .

I like the pantry on this one, maybe he could put it in some of the other builds,I was wondering if he does the Ford Vans as well, I mostly see the Ben's.
He will do Transits if a customer chooses one ☝️
We are loving the pantry too!
We have done some transit vans and will do others. We do so many sprinters due to our relationship with them
Really like those window shades, big screens…but pricey but not compared to other models.
I appreciate the feedback. I thought this was a pretty good value at this price point keeping in mind the price included the van too and it’s a brand new van not a used van.
Price point isn’t for everyone but like you said. When compared to others it’s a better value for a brand new RV

Nice. Can I suggest a video showing why these build outs are better than the vans made by the RV makers? Not sure if this would be a problem for the channel though. But if possible…

99% of the big guys build for your Rv to be at a campground and not off grid. We build to be off grid and the option for campgrounds if you wanted.

this is the one! I love the design, it's everything I've been looking for, but does it have to be a Mercedes? Elegent yes, my issue is, 10 years from now and I need a part for a Mercedes there could be an issue, that's my only concern
I’m happy you like it. I know he builds some rams and some transits. However, Mercedes is his specialty.
It does t have to be a sprinter. We build on all major platforms. Let us know and we can make it happen.

Do you know and Dodge dealers in your area that will work with us? Just planting seeds for now so you can ask around, I'm thinking you build it there and dealership delivers to me here? As soon as I have a timeline I'm going to give you a call, just a heads up, you may have to do some travelling yourself and have a shop out west cause I'm gonna need some business cards to pass out!

Love the actual van but hate the layout. My 1988 GMC camper van is ancient but even it's got a better layout.

It’s a Mercedes-Benz sprinter
170” sprinter
that shower looks small
But it makes a nice toilet room 🙂
Compared to other class B RVs, it’s about the same size. He does have other floor plans with larger showers. Look up Massive Bath van 🚐 on CZcams
24” x 36” which is similar to most class B RVs and bigger than some too.
Watch the video Patrick mentioned and you’ll see something epic as far as a RV shower is concerned

Too much wood. In time things will come lose, or gives mold a chance to take the ride with you.
I like the bathroom marble tile. Too bad Steve told us nothing about the tile. We come here to learn about materials for our own builds or mods. I need to redo my RV bathroom and at a loss about substrates for vinyl tiles, how to waterproof for vinyl tiles. It would have helped me a lot to know this, but ... still in the dark. Sad.
I don't think Steve should be doing these tours. He sounds tired and jaded, like it is a favor to do these tours, whereas they are free advertising for his business: Nomad RVs. He skims over the build, reveals nothing new of interest, we hardly get to see any details or know how they are made, or what materials are used, no tips or tricks, nothing. Just a dismissive tour of his latest customer paid van build which is mostly an assembly of ready made, high priced parts. Another cookie cutter build with no originality, and a lack luster tour. At least give us a good tour.
Everything Steve knows is learned from others. There is a culture of sharing in the RV community. A van is a complex build. We share information so we all learn about new tricks, and new materials that benefit us all. When someone does not share, it is very off-putting. Very few of us are going to be RV builders and competition for his business. However, even if we were, there is such a high demand and so little supply of good builders, it makes no difference. These builds no longer interest me for the above reasons. I feel very put out by Steve's tours and dismissive personality which is typical of a busy business owner and this is precisely why he should not give the tours. He is not a salesman, shows no enthusiasm, and makes the viewer feel like he is doing us a great favor. No, Steve, it is the other way around. You are getting free advertising here, on a popular RV build channel, with a high number of viewers. You are also getting new customers through this channel.
Would you like to know exactly how the showers are built? I’d be happy to let you know and tell you the materials.

Another commercial for Steve, we don’t mind seeing these cookie cutter pro builds from time to time from time to time but we do mind when it is ALLLLLLL that you film anymore. Did you quit vanlife yourself? Why don’t you get out there and meet people with unique DIY rigs again?! THAT is what grew your channel and now you’re just getting lazy.
This weekend is the release of 4 lost episodes for Nomad RVs. One more tomorrow. We filmed so much this year I didn’t get a chance to release them all. I already have the next 16 DIY and Pro build video filmed, edited and uploaded for release Starting January
Geez the last 2 have been specific to the customer. This one was a spec but sold before the video. Not just layouts we build everyday and in fact we haven’t built anything the same yet. Similar sure but not 1 build has a copy yet
You seam to a very nice person, the world doesn’t need more like you.
If you really watched Patrick's channel and saw the huge variety of cool and unique small spaces he features on his channel, you'd laugh out loud like I am about your comment. Nomad RVs and Steve are hardly cookie-cutter van designers (again, if you really watched the variety of builds he and his team creates). Most importantly, another great van conversion, Steve, and Patrick, thanks for continuing to feature inspiring ways to live and explore!
