In the eighties we went for a coffee and spent the whole afternoon playing dices or backammon. Immagine that with a queue of tourists anxious to spend their euros or dollars.
Excuse me but, are you trying to compare the restaurants (any restaurant) or bars (any bar) in Buenos Aires with the ones in Melbourne? Yeah, I think you are right: growing up in Melbourne you were spoiled. Obviously, you've been eating lots of alfalfa and watercress, which is all they serve you when you want to eat in Australia. I suggest you stay in that big country town that is Melbourne. Obviously, such a big and great City like Buenos Aires is not the one for you. Oh well, you've missed your opportunity.
