Lets all remember that whenever a new tank line comes into the game, the first ones who get their hands on it are the veterans who have loads of free exp and/or blueprints saved up so the performance of new vehicles is always higher at the start and drops off after newer players start to play the new tanks too.

49% WR player here and I adore this tank. Surprisingly sneaky. Bounces often enough. Great DPM with bond equipment. Great jack of all trades type of tank.
The tier 9 is even better at this imo because the Armor actually holds up
when the king baboon and then QB himself showcase this replay, u know this is a great game.

I got it, but I'm a recidivist when it comes to casemate TDs...liking it quite a lot. You do need your team to keep up their end of the deal, as I don't sense a lot of carry potential.
I love how QB thinks all the players spend hours a day to play the game. Been on for 9 years still haven't unlocked half of the tanks.
Sounds like a skill issue bro. I've been playing the game intermitently and F2P for the last 10 years and I have almost all lines researched except the T110E3 and E5 lines, the Japanese HT and TD lines, the chinese TD line, any of the polish tanks and the french, soviet and british arty lines. And I haven't done them because I am not interested in any of those tanks
I am curently working on finishing the swedish meds and TDs, as well as the british HT line.
I ground the Japanese TD line to Tier X pretty quickly, what with blueprints, personal reserves, leftover x5 XP missions (I usually get as many as I can from tokens/twitch drops etc) etc. Only played 2 battles in it though - TBH I wish more tier X tanks had alternate guns that you could grind XP for playstyle preferences. It'd be nice if there was a choice between two guns with different strengths/weaknesses

Kind of a sensationalised title, this happens every new tech tree, good players get it first, drive the WR up and then 6 months later average players get it and everything evens out.
I played on 16/25x for years, I played very badly recently with 5000-6500 Wtr and ~30% win ratio so I needed a change, so I changed to x8 zoom and now I can perform at 8500-10000 easily.
Already on 2-4 days streak compared to 25x where I couldn’t hit anything.
The problem was on my aim and connecting the shots and not decisions. As my thoughts.
I strongly recommend! 🙂
Maybe it’s because I lowered my sensitivity aswell, not sure. But at least it works for me.

Funnily enough, in WoT Blitz, this thing is a tier 9 with a different armor approach. In Blitz, the superstructure is thick, but it can be penned with gold easily, the angled Hull on the other hand is literally impossible to pen on flat ground. It's Hull armor is actually better than the tier 10 one's, but the top tier tank has so much penetration, it can butter a Hull down Kranvagn or even go through the turret of the 60TP.

I do plan to head down the Japanese TD line at some point. Right now, I'm just trying to get enough special crew members to have a 6-man crew. So far, I have 4/6 I need. For the moment, I'm focusing more on the Italian and Chinese TD lines.
I enjoy the whole Japanese TD line - the tier 6 (Ji-Ro?) is my current plaything. There are several great all-arounders in the tech tree.

I’ve been a casual player for 7 years now and the only nation I’ve played the hell out of is Japan. I love the addition of TDs! I feel like now more than ever people are playing jap tanks. I just unlocked my Ho-Ri 2 and have 3 games in it. So far, I like this line more than my STB-1 and Type 4 Heavy. Can’t wait to get my second (maybe third) tier X!
The Maneuverability, Alpha Damage, and Rate of fire in that thing is insane.

Looks like it's time to nerf Grile 15 like Progetto 65. It's on top and many players like it.

This tank reminds me of the v4 with a better gun but slightly slower and worse armor
I find it interesting that Blitz was first to implement them and that their guns are the highest penetration of any td’s in 8-10, and that the Ho-Ri ty3 is actually t9 and Ho-Ri 2 is the t10, all having very strong AP rounds, but the t7 is of completely different design to PC than Blitz one

I've come to tier 9 and am enjoying it, so far at least :D its a killer TD, that is also pretty fun... tbh, I also didnt expect it to be good or fun to play, but it is... but seeing how Ho-Ri 2 and 3 are so similar, it honestly seems more of the same, I rly dont feel the need to rush for tier 10... I would rather stay at tier 9 and watch puppies with tier sevens try penning my superstructure while I am dispatching them back to the garage in more or less two shots :D :D
I disabled x16 zoom as I find that I tunnel vision more with that option enabled.
max x8 is the best, way easier to aim on distance
I enjoy meeting these on the battlefield in my Jagdpanzer E 100 😉 they're EXP pinatas. For me, I adore my German tank destroyers so I have absolutely zero interest in a line that is so incredibly similar to them. This replay cements it. I'd rather play my Ferdinand at tier VIII or Jagdtiger at tier IX (especially the Jagdtiger - that machine is spectacular).

I mean, it was a Techtree Tank for longer than the Foch B was if I remember correctly

Interesting that you say the Grille 15 has a better gun than the Ho-Ri III. If you want to look at gold rounds, the Ho-Ri has a greater DPM, greater pen, reloads faster and higher sell velocity than the Grille.
The only place where the Grille 15 shines is its ability to snipe (aim time and dispersion, while not moving are far better than the Ho-Ri). Plus the Grille has the ability to relocate.
To say one tank is better or worse is kind of hard to say. Its more like the Hellcat (before being nerfed) vs the AT 8 when you compare the Grille to the Ho-Ri. Honestly these tanks serve two very different TD roles. (I get the Hellcat isnt the sniper that the AT 8 is but with 10° of depression and nearly an infinite amount more mobility, the hellcat actually can reposition effectively while the AT 8 only can drive and shoot from one flank)

It isnt the greatest td, it is a sniper with horrible accuracy and zero armor. It is funny they said it was supposed to be a originally be a front line td.
Mh tbh he was literally just gold spamming and never got pressured by anyone and could shoot in the backs and sides of everyone without any risk

yay, hype, well, on second thought, atm it might be in a good spot but only for a few, since armor doesn´t really exists in the game anymore (goldammo) with the at best mediocre acc this line is neither worth the time or the effort, as it will get nurfed to smitherienes once the general player base reaches the tank, happened to every other "OP" tank in the tech tree. The vid should contain the warning for "Paid Advertisements" since its just chilling for wargaming.

@@durachoks This is exactly the point! Doesn't seem to matter much what tank you pick, WoT will always make sure one side wins regardless of the tank setup. The manipulation of the "pen loss" lately is unreal! They really want to fork that "Buy my shyt" feeling right down our throat.(Premium)
@@audacyspectrum3612 Its all comes down to rng, better gun handling doesnt mean you will hit everything and bad gunhandling doesnt mean you will miss everything, its just means with beter gun you will hit more shots on AVERAGE, there are no manipulation, rng can be a bitch. But it certainly can feel that way for some, so I understand

I'm playing through the line slowly. I'm at T7 rn and its a pain.
T7 is possibly the best tank tier for tier in this line and some people are claiming that it's OP. If you can't enjoy it I'm afraid that you would hate the entire line.
