Wow... 😂😂 it seems like yesterday that Jay couldn't stand to see the gore of a Saw movie, turning from the screen, closing his eyes, and almost gagging. Now he's like us - watching with eyes wide open, and as giddy as a child of divorce on Christmas.
They've already confirmed that there will be Saw XI next year. I really hope they bring back Cecilia as she's a great villain and this time around she finally gets what she actually deserves.
Btw for any one interested Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, and Costas Mandylor are going to be guests at a convention in North Carolina towards the end of August.
Carlos was a 'Key to the Plot', *literally* . Carlos' appeareance as a foreshadow was just so that the movie could end the way it did, because it makes *no sense* why that boy was out *that late* at night kicking a ball around 🤣🤣🤣
First off, Tobin Bell gave an Oscar-worthy performance in this film. I truly believe he deserved an Oscar for it. Second, Jigsaw proves once again that he's not the villain in these movies. He's doing society a favor with his "hobby" as a "life coach".
Absolutely agree but the academy hates horror so of course he wasn't even nominated. But we fans know what an amazing actor he is and we'll always support him ❤

Finally made it to the movie that made me fall in love with this franchise. 😌 I've been counting down the days to this since you started. Being blown away by this film, and then marathoning the Saw films that I hadn't seen yet was an awesome experience.

Hell yeah dude! I just got home from work just now and ready to watch this reaction. It’s been a long time since you first started this series and now on to X. This one is easily one of the best of the films. Particularly in the top 5 for me personally. If you would had told me then that I’d get emotional and cry during a Saw movie of all things, I’d never believe it. I’m not ashamed to admit that I cried a few times watching it. Hell, even the music reflected on how it made me feel. Charlie Clouser did a good job on showing us the hauntingly beautiful, warm, somber and reflective melodies but still retains his signature Saw moments. The traps in this one were all good in my opinion too. I honestly not sure which ones is my favorite. It’s tied with the eye vacuum trap, the razor wire trap and the brain surgery trap. Such a good movie man! Looking forward to seeing Saw XI next year.

Robert Enguland as John's brother or family member could be an interesting addition. Enguland I feel is a great actor who hasn't gotten to stretch his acting muscles much which was the same for Bell before Saw.
Would have never thought these would become one of your favourite franchise's. And compare your reaction of this to the first SAW movie and notice how gore scenes doesnt effect you as much now, you'd be looking away and about to throw up 😂

Gabriella's trap, if she did her arm first then she'd fall to the ground with yeah a broken ankle but only similar to detective matthews, and she would of been out of the way of the beam.
I used to be a HUGE fan of these movies years ago, but as I got older, the whole gory horror thing just wasn't my thing anymore... that being said,... I kept fighting wanting to watch this movie for a minute, till I thought to myself, if J gotta do it, then I gotta go through it too.

Tobin Bell was fantastic in this! Movie was satisfying, but just okay, in my opinion. I just felt that it fell back into the same poorly written characters and cheap gimmicks that the franchise becme known for in mid-late entries, instead of something fresh and new like the original (or even Spiral, as much as most folks hated it). They accomplished what they wanted to, and I guess gave fans what they wanted, but I guess I was just underwhelmed that folks just wanted *exactly* more of the same. Having said all that, watching this with J, I was loving every minute of it. Darn blast.

J, you have to check out Hell House LLC films. They are “found Footage Doc” films there pretty creepy. And they have another one Hell House: Origins which is creepy too. They are free on CZcams lol. Idk which saw would be my favorite but my favorite trap would be The Rack where it twisted dudes limbs .
(Doing napkin math but on something suspiciously hairy) Okay judging from these calculations, by October of 2026, Jay will be watching Terrifier Four, with the actual Art The Clown, not the actor that plays him, but the actual serial killing clown Art, on his channel. He will also be, if I'm making this up correctly, high-fiving him during the most gruesome kills and wearing one of those dorky little hats.
I completely get John's anger in this one (lost a family member to doctors who were taking advantage of their patients) so understand I do not say this lightly or with much empathy for these characters: A couple of these traps were unfair and needlessly so -- and either John missed some calculations, or he overlooked them on purpose because it was personal. Because the timers on a couple of those traps were way too short, esp when you remember most of these people barely speak English and whatever your level of knowing another language, you need additional time to basically filter all of that information through your first language. The second victim was a good warning of this right off when she was confused at him calling the saw a key. Amanda reads this as "lol you don't understand metaphors" and no -- metaphors exist in most all languages but they're different. When you are learning to speak a new language you learn literal translations before you learn metaphors, idioms, etc. That's advanced.

Cecilia told Gabriela to start with her foot on purpose. Had she fallen down, it couldn't reach her. Gabriela really did deserve a better chance.
