@@krisreacts121 I would just like to hop in here and say that Jotta very much still sings and she's still a fantastic singer. She came out a couple of years ago as bisexual and has since come out as transgender. It's been a rough journey for her, being famous as a child (male) gospel singer and finding her true self within her faith and her community, but mainly and most importantly of course, within herself. She's still working on self-love and self-acceptance, but she has also said that she feels free now and that she's happier than ever before, finally being open with who she truly is, both to herself and to the world. She's decided to keep the name Jotta, as it was not her deadname but her artistic name that she's now chosen as her actual name. I just wanted to let you know that she very much still loves music and singing and that she is still a terrific and heartfelt singer. Different from when she was 12, yes, but still great. As far as religion goes, I don't know for sure. As far as I know she has never said that she's lost her faith. She left the record company when she came out as bisexual, but she said that was because her identity went against their rules/beliefs, not that she no longer believes in God herself. She isn't a gospel singer like she was before and I know it's been tough for her to come out within the religious community in which she grew up, but I also know that many people in her life support her. I personally think it's wonderful that she finally feels free to be who she truly is and I wish her all the happiness in the world!
