It was always so fun to see all the different job options and was always a favorite among myself and many other students.

Only 2-3 parents would come in each day (a total of 10-15 throughout the week), and they are fairly large class rooms (usually around 20+ each). There were always new parents and new jobs that we got to explore each year. Each presentation was unique, so even if we saw 2 firefighters in a week, the presentation would be different.
We did that during A-Z day (last 26 days of school), on C day. In first grade, the class right next to us got to visit Blitz. I’m still a tiny bit jealous about that.

My parents never came to Career Day at my school because my dad was always working and my mom was too embarrassed to go because she felt like being a stay-at-home-mom wasn't a real job. Now that I'm older I realize how hard she worked and it's sad to think that she was embarrassed about that.
It's my first time getting what parents mean when they say kids growing up is bitter sweet. So great to see clara growing up but was so incredibly sad to see that little version of her is gone forever
