Hi esme
It is good for esme, it boosts the algorithm. Short n easy thing to comment. But I do find it annoying 😂
@@lilypeate7007 lol true tho
@@lilypeate7007 I found it annoying first... Oops
Normie and Joey should be friends 😂😂❤
Gorgeous Barn/Farm/Stables!❤😊
Yesssss❤❤
Gaby seems lovely and friendly and easy to get along with
I note that Esme has a realistic perception when it comes to blokes lol. That was amazing; thank you both so much.
Hi Esme, I have been revising HOURS for my summer exams and listening to your podcasts have honestly helped me so so much. They help me focus so much and it’s so nice because I can listen to what you are saying while still focusing on revising. It honestly makes me look forward to revising because I can listen to your podcasts too! I revise for three hours after school and the time flies by! I honestly wish I had discovered your podcasts sooner. I just wanted to say thank you for that. ❤
I have exams in a few days ❤❤ gl x
@@Lanaaabananaaa Awh thank you so much. Mine start on the 23rd of may! Good luck to you too! x
What a dream to ride in america, looks like somewhere out of a movie
only in wellington and lexington though, everywhere else looks pretty average
Most places in America are not like that.
@@Jen-zz7nvi have ridden in mammoth lakes CA and it was sooo different to this but i think all different areas in the US have unique styles!
@@Jen-zz7nv
Maybe not as fancy and upscale, but the barns I have boarded my horses at in the US have had the same basic design, stalls indoors, covered arenas, outdoor arenas, full care. And most have rubber added to the arena footing, as Esme does. I actually thought that was standard.
Ehhhhh not what you think. It’s okay nothing special!
oml two of my absolute idols are collabing
I don't want to sound like a creep, but my gosh Gaby is absolutely STUNNING!
Also you both are so funny! I loved this interview, especially you talking about blokes 🤣
Barbara from Seattle here.
Not creepy at all. 😊
Loved this interview! Had so much fun watching it ☺️
This is the perfect collab literally 🤩 Great video Esme!!❤❤
Omg hi Esme! I’ve been watching your videos for just over five years now and although your riding has improved massively your fun and caring personality hasn’t changed at all! I can’t wait for you to get to 1 million! 💓
Hiya, Esme i love your videos so much you inspire me to ride more and your kind and funny you never fail to keep us intertained, keep up the great work and achieve your goals and dreams! xx
This is amazing I love the longer videos ❤
Difference between breeches and jodhpurs: jodhpurs: for 12yo and younger, used with garter straps, are commonly used in the hunters, are a thicker material, and have straps for them to be pulled over the boots. Breeches are thinner material and is used for everyone older than 13.
Loving the long videos esme you put in some hard work into it
Esme this really cheered me up after a rubbish day at work. Thank you ! 😊
Early!! I love you so much Esme!
Esme deserves the world ❤
This was a fun video to watch! Some of the terms used in the UK I had never heard of in Canada - now I use them too! I liked watching you two discuss it! 😀
Such a fun video, I love both of your personalities!
I'm Irish and honestly I'd usually say that I'm going to the yard but if not I'd say that I'm going to the stable
And I have worn a hairnet like maybe once for like three seconds while trying on a helmet at a shop
Also I never realised that not everyone used rubber in their arenas
And I know it's not a UK thing really but in Ireland we'd say t'is grand. And it means that it's ok or good.
I LOVE YOUR VIDS SO MUCH ESME! All your horses are so lucky to have you as there owner❤😊 I watch all your vids aswell❤
A colab we didn’t kno we needed❤

Esme, you look like you had so much fun with Gaby!
Hi esme i cant wait to wacth this video
HI ES! I LOVE WATCHING YOU AND YOURHORSES SO MUCH❤❤❤❤❤
In the US jodhpur’s are the long riding pants with the fold up cuff worn with paddock (short) boots. Breeches are worn with tall boots and are usually fitted at the ankle.
Love this Esme! Soon you should do a meet and greet in Wisconsin! Tha5s where im from!❤❤
Beautiful barn and grounds! I think esme is talking about something outside called a run in shed. Its something that horses when they live outside use for shelter ( im from the USA but i was a stable hand at a few different barns for a long time). Thats true in the usa too about having to wear white breaches at a dressage show . I was a stable hand at a public dressage boarding barn from 2008 to 2019.
Good job, you. Stick with it. 😊
@@chuckthebrindlepittie6820 I do something else now I don't do working with horses anymore because I couldn't find a job right away last year
omgg i love her this is such a cute crossover
Hi Esme, I got all 3 of your books and I'd say it's one of the best I've read! I love Summer, Jessie and Ellie. I am reading the first book right now. I read the back and I'm so sorry you struggled with school, but look how far you've come! I've always wanted my own horse, but when I rode my first horse I broke my hand (it was my friends horse) so I'm kinda nervous to ride again.
I LOVE YOU ESME!!!!!❤❤❤
I can’t wait to meet you tomorrow!!!
Maybe like food or bin / trash can I’m English but live in America so I know some of the slang
It notified me and I clicked straight away so many views already

Love your videos but Gabby was probably not the best choice for this video since she's not originally from the US!
She’s great though hey!?
Normie and joey are so cute I’ve watched your videos since I was 4 and I’m just obsessed ❤
Jodphurs go over paddock boots and have the elastic band at the bottom that wraps under the boot.

yes!
Many of us do not read comments written in all CAPS. It signifies anger or someone who just wants attention or does not understand upper and lower case English.. I did not read your comment. Maybe try again.
@@chuckthebrindlepittie6820 ok! that was rude not trying to be rude. Also it can show excitement when people are writing in caps.
@@Anna-px9bd You wrote a very nice message, just read it, I am sorry if so was was harsh. I work in IT so I could not hold back. It was meant to informative, but my message did sound bad. Apologies.
🎉 what a barn🎉
Your type of barn is called a shed-row in the US
Yay a new video ❤❤❤
I miss Florida, my home, then my idiot self moved to Wyoming but at the same time I love it here
In Virginia we say horse trailer as there are very differ t types of trailers for other animals or for vehicles. So a horse trailer means any type of thing that holds a horse. We don’t do those loire van things. No one sells them. Very rare.
This was so funny ❤❤❤
I always ride in hair nets when I am not schooling at home! Thats another thing in the US. Everyone wears a hairnet then they are over 13 years. But a lot of people do just put their hair in the hairnet and flip it into my hairnet. It does itch but I've gotten used to it.
love you so much Esme!!!! and wow that stable is really nice! also what riding tights are you wearing? im guessing its lemieux but what ones ? XX

Hey Esme if you’re gonna be at the horse park this weekend, i’m also gonna be there!!
Come and say hi!
U.S.... jodhpurs are pants for riding horses. They have a lot of room in the hip/thigh area and taper to more slim fitted on calf of leg. :D Look them up for a direct photo! :D
Esme, the ones I remember make your hips look REALLY big! Personally, I didn't care for them and I was thin!
Barbara from Seattle. Loved them. So traditional. I felt like a true English rider.
When I saw the background, I was like uhmmm is that a greenscreen or real, And I started laughing omg I'm so dumb BTW luv your vids!!

Esme you are so pretty
In Canada, we just call them riding pants
In the USA too!
@@tiffanymanross2763
Barbara from Seattle, previously from California and Portland, Oregon, USA.
Interesting...
We call them breeches, because of our discipline. Dressage, show jumping, cross country jumping. Our equestrian roots and origins are from England,. I think of it as a wonderful formal English riding tradition. Might be a West Coast thing in the US. I do not know.
Be well. Whatever you call riding pants. 😊

I always thought the fly spray things in the stables was normal LOL
Me too.
fly spray is so expensive I couldnt imagine
@@ciara2837 For more than 30 years, the barns where I have boarded my horses have a system like that. Obviates the need for expensive cans of fly spray, for the owners. The other thing helpful is their use of preditor insects added to manure piles and area around the barn. I use it at home also, to help out my rescue horses. Not expensive. I recommend it.
@@chuckthebrindlepittie6820 thats so interesting I hadnt heard of either!
@@ciara2837Hi.
To be completely transparent, I have been lucky enough and very privileged to have boarded my horses at some rather upscale barns. Plus, I ride English -- so that might make a difference, too. (You know how we English riders are -- picky, picky, picky. To a fault I feel. We need to have the "correct" clothing for dressage, stadium jumping and cross-country. Tiresome.) The good thing about us "eventers," though, is that it doesn't matter about our horse's breeding or looks -- scars and everything, from healthy turnout. And in my heart, even my rescued, completely unrideable horses are "champions" too. I keep them forever, through illness and old age. I have no automatic fly spray at my home with them! I wish! 😊 So, I am maybe not just a ritzy jerk. But fly sprayers in stalls is not new to me. And I think it is a good thing. 😊
Take care. 🐎😊💛
Barbara from Seattle, USA.
ESME I LOVE YOU SMMM BUT I HAVE a question when will u be back whit joey?
lol. Us Aussies always have to confuse people. We float our horses to a show lol. Giggle ❤ 🇦🇺

Finally a spanish girl! Hey! I’m also a spanish equestrian girlie!!!
And I’m also a showjumper!!!!!

In England
There are many strange word translations from English to “American” English. When I was young my trainer and role model was British, so I learned the British term for things. Going to the tack store was a challenge because they didn’t know what I meant. Numnah= saddle pad. Market Holborough ?spelling is a German Olympic running martingale. Headcollar vs halter. Menage? Vs arena. 😂 Oh so many things
im an egyptian but i know english more than arabic. So when i tell someone at the stables any tool in english they tell me, what who, but my trainer is the only one who understands me😂😂😂😂😂
ESME your barn would be called a shedrow but most people would just say a barn
