crown vic brake lights still not flashing checking lcm and connections

with heavy rain all day I check on the car in between spurts,,cheapest place I can find for a brake light switch is 40$,,seems my last option

I unplugged those connectors on the lighting control module one was slightly loose but I disconnected them and reconnected them a few times and my brake lights are now functioning I started with the small one on the bottom closet to the gas pedal and my car started making the noise it makes when you leave the lights on when you cut off your car but there are functional

the brake switch on the pedal,,I got notices from the local le so at this point I had to get it fixed as I drive long distances
