It's hard to be patient when you have an urgent need. But, I' m reminded of one of my longtime favorite passages from the New Testament. Jesus tells us to stop worrying and says not by one jot or tittle can we increase our stature by worrying. Look at the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. They toil not neither do they spin yet our Father in heaven provides for them (I'm paraphrasing a bit). How much more will He provide for us, his children?

Waiting feels like doing nothing. That doesn’t feel right! But I’m in freeze mode & doing practically NOTHING beyond the bare minimum to survive.
