Port St. Lucie has undergone many changes since it was first incorporated in 1961. That’s why, for more than a year, the City has been conducting research inside and outside the community to uncover perceptions and attitudes to find out what’s unique about Port St. Lucie and define its identity. On Episode 12, Communications Director Sarah Prohaska talks about the City’s Identity and Rebranding Project and how it helps the City change, clarify, refine and improve its reputation. We unveil the new logo and tagline, Heart of the Treasure Coast, and answer residents’ questions about how the project makes us a better community.

Highest taxes in the state!! These people need to work on lowering our Real Estate taxes. $10k year for a 2000sf tract home is insane. Becker and PSL blvd both need MAJOR expansion.

just gotz to make some changes fast ... like psl blvd south should be 6 not 4 lanes , also Becker soon should be 6 as it was suppose to be back in the day Becker roadway overlay district original planning not this new planning the city sided to change too . i bet you in the nearer future houses will have to be purchased now on becker roadway to widen it or have the roadway eat up some of these residents front yards .. Example Lowes is coming to the Area on Becker also a Amphitheater etc its time already to widen the roadway. Should of been done a time ago when it was easier.

@@markbryant1743 Well if you are on Becker and Go past village . You can see they have extended Becker somewhat. Its only 2 lanes and the Mayor stated at the last of these talks that a lowes was coming soon. So my thinking is the roadway is going to have to be widened more then two lanes . As far as Becker going to rangeline it might already i have not been out that way in months and i know they roadway (Contractors) were working on the roadway .. I do not know a completion date to get to rangeline.
