Okay, so these two kind of reached into my soul and grasped on hard. It was the last thing I expected from this show but it is so wonderful. It somehow manages to encompass a wonderful mix of all my rare tropes (two big characters who develop for a long while before even meeting was not one I was expecting to see so soon). I don't know, I really love them.
This video is a bit different. It's not really much of a ship video but more: two character studies smashed together and paralleled and intertwining together. I considered waiting a bit, because I have major anxiety about posting videos before a season is over, but I figured: Since it's more about them as individual characters, the longer I wait, the more it would be about the relationship. And I didn't want that for this video.
Can be viewed as platonic or romantic or just two separate studies. Up to you. I hope you enjoy!

I literally saw 'Daniel Sousa' in the title, got really confused, read all the comments, figured out that Daniel is in the final season, thought to myself 'Oh, screw it!' - and immediately decided to watch all the 9 episodes (now waiting for the rest).
I don't know how but this amazing guy literally made me go back to the series.
I guess I have to thank you for that. I'm surprised but excited!

I loved how the show made it subtle. And didn't become really obvious until this moment. I just hope that they can catch a break. I was disappointed when Daniel was cut out of being with Peggy, because Steve went back to be with her. And how Daisy still has Lincoln's ghost there (in her memories, if not still in heart).
I AM SHOOOOOK!! THAT WAS AMAZING!! A TRUE MASTERPIECE!! I loved how well you showed their separate journey's and how it led up to them meeting each other and creating this beautiful bond that is still being strengthened in every episode. As expected, I got super emotional during the Peggysous and Static Quake parts, but you really hit me over the head with the Cal/Jiaying parallels. I hadn't even thought of that yet and I'm just amazed at your mind for putting the dots together! Also, him saying this is a fight he has to wage alone if he has to followed by him saying he's going with Daisy??? Love that development!! As I said, you truly created a masterpiece here!

I love this! I love how at the end of episode 8 he stayed with Daisy when she went into the healing chamber. I think that after another episode I'm going to fully ship them!

That's because he is an old fashioned guy from a time when women were treated with chivalryand total respect and that kind of s*** kind of shocked our millennial girl there Daisy she never seen a man like that before a real man. That's why they are together because opposite attract however with the loss of alternate mother in the timelinejaheim however she gained a little bit of both she gained a boyfriend that she respects and love and she gained a sister I think that's a win-win the sister she always wanted.
first off, this video is Perfection. i loved reading the description of it being as a character study of two characters who intertwine because yes! my friend and i screamed when we saw their scenes in the noir episode being how they have very similar character of they are here because they believe in justice and they are righteous without like, being assholes. the counting paths tracks you have is just so good idk what to say that wasn't originally screaming but i love this!!! thank you so much for this gift!
This is so aMAZING. It really highlights how fantastic these two characters are (you mentioned well-developed characters and I agree!) and how similar some of their core hurts & ideals are. I loved this mix of their individual stories tied in with them meeting in s7. The quotes! The song! Everything was so gorgeous. Well done!

um, WOW. I don’t know how, but this hits literally all the buttons for how I feel about these two characters individually and how I feel about their baby crushes on each other. They are both fascinating characters in their own right, and I adore them, and I love that their individual stories got so much space in this video. The more I watch it, the more I catch.
I don’t know how I feel about the progression of their relationship in the show. It was easier for me to ship it when it was the fans doing the work, since I worry it will be rushed on-screen if they become a canon couple. And also, now I’ve actually seen most of the previous seasons, and I adore Daisy so much. The more canon they get, the more nervous I feel 😅 the point of that ramble is to say that I really like how you portrayed their relationship to each other! How their stories, traumas, and losses parallel each other, and how they bring all of that to whatever kind of relationship they might build.
These two characters deserve happiness. And if they find it together, then great....
I loved this. I wasn’t sure what to think of these two I saw posts about them on tumblr and I know people like the idea but until I actually watched the season I wasn’t sure. Now I have a soft spot for them. I saw this video in my feed and decided to come back and watch now I’m caught up. I loved it. I loved all the parallels. It was so important. How similar some of their pasts and how they’ve lost people they care for.
Of the few guys that has had Daisy's interest and love, she and Sousa have by far the BEST chemistry! I need their ship name now! They have to be #endgame!!! 😜❤👌

Okay so after watching this yesterday I was so intrigued by them that I went back and watched all the Sousa eps - I haven’t watched the show since like S2 and since then only knew some basics from posts that had shown up on my dash in the years since. But yeah, these two are wonderful and I’m so very excited to see how their relationship will develop in future eps!!! Thanks for making this vid 😊

As of this posting, only 10 of the final season’s 13 episodes have aired, so I’m not yet certain if Daniel Sousa and Daisy Johnson will indeed become a permanent couple who will get to enjoy a happily-ever-after ending when the mission is over. If they do become a permanent item however, then another song which would be absolutely perfect for a follow-up video would be “Feel the Night” by Baxter Robertson.
The reason I think this song would be perfect is because the first verse contains a line which says: “I was kidnapped to another time zone where someone like you could really be.” When recalling how Sousa was in fact literally kidnapped by the team and taken to a future time period, this line perfectly describes his situation.

I kind of stopped watching AOS after Endgame tore my heart out and shredded it into a million tiny pieces. But now that my boy Daniel Sousa from Agent Carter is now involved, I’m feeling excited to throw on some PJs and binge watch all the episodes again!

Agents of SHIELD is fantastic comic book television. The first season starts out slow because it’s setting up the character dynamics and whatnot but just stick with it. The seemingly unrelated storylines will all tie together eventually. And the rest of the show is amazing and never stagnant.
And Agent Carter is fantastic as well. It’s a shame it only has two seasons.
Definitely recommend both!

Im seeing a lot of confusion here with how Sousa is with her if he was with Peggy at the end of season 2 of Agent Carter, so let me help to explain.
Ok so, you guys also have to remember Endgame, the people from that movie changed things for the show Agent Carter (which I still cant decide if I like or not lol) so Cap went back in time and stayed with Peggy, so even if in the show Agent Carter, Sousa and Peggy ended up together they didnt last long apparently, and Peggy got to be back with Cap again. So by the time the events of these episodes here happen, it's been years since the events of the other show, and here they are in the 50's actually, just cant remember the exact year, i think it is 1955... Anyway Sousa was single by this time, he met Daisy and they ended up falling in love and together!!
I don’t ship them I think them as a couple would be weird but I do think they are really good friends and they work well together

i hope i understand your question, but as one of agent of shield's main characters, Daisy's character gets developed over the 7 seasons of the show. due to time travel shenanigans sousa (circa 1950s) joins the team near the beginning of season 7 (the current season), and the actors have great chemistry together, people started shipping them even though he's only been aroud for around 7 episodes.(spoilers for avengers endgame i guess) Steve went back in time to be with Peggy, meaning sousa and peggy probably didn't get together.
I don’t know why I didn’t realize it till rewatching AOS but the only reason we got Daniel and daisy was because the avengers change the timeline instead of half the avengers dying only black widow and iron man died when they change it which cause Steve to go back in time and date Peggy which means her and Daniel never got together which also lead to this ship

Biggest Agent Carter fan here. If you understood Peggy’s character, Sousa was never a good match for her. And Endgame made sure they didn’t end up together anyway. Daisy and Sousa are perfectly matched and they show exact why throughout both AoS and AC.
