When my family lived there, my mum was pregnant with me. I was only a ‘bump’ in her tummy!
That place sounds like its still in the 50s, is there no infrastructure there? Anyway, this is a great exercise for English learners, an actual conversation.

Back in India, we simply stay and there isn't any need to take permission from our parents. Indian Parents get offended if we don't visit them frequently.
That’s very similar to my relationship with my parents, really! I just feel guilty 😂
