- In this video, I went into many F1 22 open lobbies looking for dirty drivers taking people out. I then messaged them and got them to 1v1 me, but made sure to disable assists before the race started. I would then see how they were able to cope with the difficult conditions and whether or not they would take their anger out on me. This was an absolute masterclass in f1 22 racing and general humbling.

I don't have the game so can you maybe explain why it is so difficult to drive without "assist"
its mean to do without assist if you have either only full throttle or no throttle.. same applies with brakes..
@@samimalsi9816 assists automatically smoothly apply the brakes, throttle, and steering so you don't have to. Without assists you have to smoothly apply them otherwise you'll lose control.

I imagine that those toxic players never raced a real go-karting, even for fun. The premise is that is not just “uncool”, it is DANGEROUS, you can HURT yourself and other people, that’s why you CHOOSE to not being an idiot and feel good when you succeed.
In one of my first races I closed the gap in one racer trying to pass me (we have no mirrors, he was way faster, I wasn’t careful enough, long story but it was totally my fault) and we both ended up in the tyre barrier full speed. No injuries, but I got some bruises and a senior driver mad as hell lecturing me of how this could’ve ended up very badly for both of us.
You learn racing ethics pretty fast when pain in involved.

Trouble is, I encounter these people at the last tracks too (granted, not actual racing but still). Often the minimum wage paid "marshalls" at the tracks do little about it.

This why I'm glad that I don't online race outside of iRacing. That kind of behavior would get you straight up banned or at least suspend you for a few days to learn your lesson. Say what you want about iRacing it's run with rules and a complaint system you don't get that really anywhere else. Also, it's worth the money compared to what I spent in karting, $10,000 in 18 months.
Yeah, people who complain about the pricing of iRacing (the subscription isn't even that high) don't understand that it's a deterrent to braindead kids or man-child with anger issues, like displayed in these videos.

This is why I don't bother racing online. AI is more realistic. Real drivers might make mistakes but they're rarely erratic. How hard it is to even get off the line?

I hate people like that, those “corner bombers” that ruin races always suck. I was racing LMP on one of the Gran Turismo games, had one in the lobby. I turned off all assists after the first race and the idiot flew off the first corner because everyone else decided to brake earlier.

I've always considered myself completely mediocre but knowing that I can be somewhat quick without assists while these people can't even leave the grid without spinning was a huge boost to my confidence
