The Mogabi Smart Guitar 200 is an incredibly capable and versatile instrument designed with the creative person in mind. It features built-in recording (which you can later export to a phone, tablet, or computer), built-in reverb, a secondary microphone or line input, EQ, a direct output for performing live, and a headphone output for completely silent practice. It comes with all of the necessary cables, adapters, and a truss rod wrench. The guitar feels and plays great, and I think sits in a unique place in the market.

Does the reverb get added to the mic as well?
I guess it's a steel-string? Can't quite tell. Their website has no information. They have models ending in "AC" and "CL"--I guess we're supposed to intuit that those are acoustic steel-string and classical nylon string. Not sure. And if so, do the two models have different necks?
This one comes with normal acoustic strings, though with a piezo pickup you could certainly use nylon strings with a ball end. I’ve done that before on normal acoustic electrics. I think they’re still working on their website and getting these guitars to distributors.
Is that a Piezo under saddle pickup ( with an inherent Piezo "Quack" ) we are hearing?
Yeah it’s an undersaddle piezo.
They spelled bass, BASE! Lol
Ha! I never noticed that. This model I have is a prototype still so I'm sure they'll fix that on the final units.
Sounds halfway decent, but those beeps really make it feel like a toy. Looping with audible beeps? No way. Needs to be refined. Oh, and their website defaults to Korean, so no way to purchase as an English speaker.
I just got an email from Mogabi that they've updated their website and are launching the finished product. The guitar in this video was still a prototype so hopefully they've made adjustments based on community feedback!

Can it be used with a strap?

Hey Scott - CZcams comment replies never send me notifications so I miss most of them unless I check the video.
This guitar does not come with strap buttons and I’m not sure I would install any since there are electronics in both places the strap buttons would normally go. Instead I think I’d go for a short strap and a shoelace to tie the strap around the upper horn and the base of the speaker.
