Hello Chris!! Thanks for doing this episode Thanks for giving some love to Tahoe National Forest!!
I loved the Sierra Nevada Mountains! The birding and scenery was so good!
Nice video… and I can’t believe they logged those trees at the Yuba Pass Campground!
Thanks for checking out the video, it was really surprising to see the campground logged. However it was still really good birding!
Awesome video Chris! Congrats on getting that American Dipper! I know you've been looking for it for awhile! Keep up the good work.
Thanks Jordan! The dipper was such a surprise, it just popped up in a water stream right in front of us!
Nice video Chris once again
Glad you enjoyed!
Campsite #5! 😂
I recently saw a social flycatcher which is lifer number 215.
Awesome! Social flycatchers are SO cool!
Is that your bro? You guys are amazing. One winter, when I lived in Baraga Michigan, a couple of evening grosbeaks hit the window and were down in the snow. I had a cat carrier, that I put a towel in, and then the two birds, and brought them inside. A bit later, I took it back out, and opened it. one bird flew off right away. The other was upright, but liked the carrier. I put my hand inside, it jumped on a finger...I brought it out and held my hand up, expecting it to fly off. It stayed there, looked around, waited till I got a pic, then he/she flew off. One of the coolest moments. One time I was outside, filling feeders and a little chickadee was watching. I said "How are you doing today" and it came over on my hand....hopped up to my shoulder and CHEEPED at me and then flew off...like he was saying "cool"...lol
Hey LadyYoop! That is awesome that you lived in Baraga! I will be birding there in just 2 days! Thanks for watching and the super cool stories!
@@BirdingwithChris you bet...I loved living there so much. I lived on a dead end dirt road with the woods being the backyard. i'd make homemade suet, and I swear I fed every woodpecker in Baraga. I saw a female cardinal there, twice. Never the male. We used to have all kinds of beautiful birds...but climate change is hurting it. I loved being in Baraga tho...Have a blast, and all the very best!
