I think your priorities are a little bit off when setting up your camp site. After selecting the site, putting up your tent you start a fire BUT don’t secure additional wood for future necessities or emergencies! You must have a backup plan?

I'm trying to understand the snow is covering the ground but there is no snow in the trees until the next morning But it just looks so darn relaxing like you can make a slushie with that snow 😊

Since I am not a camper, my question is can you pack snow around the bottom of the tent to keep the cold wind from blowing under the tent?
I guess you can because I've seen in some CZcams videos of men doing it,besides those making igloo from ice as shelter.
Yes. That's the best way to insulate a tent in the snow.
Her tent has a bottom don't ask questions that you already know the answer to. Does that make you feel smart? Everybody knows the answer to that

Great video! I have the Danchel stove, too. Love it. I see they improved the wind pipe to make sections. It actually looks like a great upgrade. Will see if can buy it separately. My only comment is that i think it’s safer to be with the stove door closed. Not sure why you kept it open. I subscribed to your channel. Keep well and safe!
thank you.my father divided the stove pipe into four sections to easily roll up in assembly.I am a new camper,was not aware of the right usage of the stove door at first but now i thank you for your advices of closing the stove door for safety ❤

😊 I have had that heavy snow experience. Did the cold, damp tent press on your face? My tent had hoop poles and jumped back up when I smacked it! I had to do that four times in the night when it sagged down on me!

Where was your wood? I didn't see any stacked around anyplace. Isn't it dangerous to keep the stove door open? I kept worrying about the tent catching fire.
