Interesting story about this fragrance. In later November 2020 I got a sample of this and Roses on Ice from my local Holt Renfrew. When I got home I sprayed the Angel's Share on my right left hand and the Roses on Ice on the right. I liked Rose of Ice but I could not stop smelling the Angel's Share on the left. I was so enamored by it, I e-mailed the By Kilian ambassador immediately and asked if he could set aside a bottle for me until the next time I could make into the store and he did so. Meanwhile, the fragrance gained more and more buzz and sold out across Canada and there was only one bottle left in stock anywhere which was the one set aside for me. My By Kilian ambassador was getting e-mails and calls from other ambassadors throughout Canada from other Holts asking him to send them the bottle but he refused as he had reserved it for me. The day arrived when I could finally get to the store to pick up my bottle and my By Kilian ambassador had hidden my bottle deep in one of the cupboards of his booth, in a bag underneath a bunch of official By Kilian blotter cards so that no one would find it and sell it when he wasn't around. He went above and beyond to make sure that I would have my bottle. As for this review, I'm not a perfumer, so I can't really pick up whether there are naturals or not. I just love the way this smells. I love the performance on my skin. I love the presentation, but I agree, the cap should be glass, too.
@@grrrrrddd I use it sparingly because it quite literally was the last bottle available in Canada of the very first batch of Angel's Share. I've not smelled subsequent batches but there will never be another first batch. Luckily a little goes a long way. Two sprays lasts all day.
The packaging is one of the best I've come across. It works on lots of levels. One being it is indicative of what's in the bottle. Same with the colour of the juice.

I’m actually glad that it doesn’t have bergamot because it seems like almost all fragrances nowadays contain bergamot. Opting out bergamot in this dark boozy gourmand actually make it more unique.
Agree with you on the bergamot being on the top of almost every fragrance. It’s difficult to find something that doesn’t include it or tonka. Although I live thicker, dark, round fragrances so I guess I’m not as tired of tonka.
You actually explain why a scent performs the way it does and I’m in awe. I would love to be able to break something down in that detail just by smelling it, but I can’t even tell you the difference between certain fruits (except guava, etc) and certain florals.
This is a great scent and really easy to love in my opinion but my biggest issue with the Kilian house in general is that most of their fragrances feel too safe and too easy to wear for the price. I think anyone who pays these types of prices on a fragrance, unless they're just another fan boy/fan girl of a brand (which Kilian has plenty of) then should demand something that's really going to stand out.
Good review. Having Bergamot and the other notes you mentioned would make it awesome. I rarely wear this, think I've got used to more naturals so maybe that's why. Actually, just having a fresh note of orange and a floral note of rose would brighten this up beautifully.
I just received a sample of Angels Share and expected to be blown away given the rave reviews it received. Instead, I was a little let down. It didn’t smell special enough for the price they were charging. The sample was nice but I will never purchase a full bottle. I was really glad to hear you felt the similarly, Aaron. Thank you Aaron for your opinion. I had the same impression after smelling it. I thought it was overpriced for what it is especially since it is so synthetic. Don't get the hype, personally.

I got Cocktail Intense from Amazon and at first spray they smell identical, but after settling down I think I prefer C Intense because it’s smoother, less loud and “sharp”, but it doesn’t have the longevity to me. I’m becoming more sensitive to smells and really heavy anything gives me a headache - I don’t want my perfume to suffocate people or enter the room before I do.
Love your content, both scents ans videos. One thing I often think about: A bit of sound dampening mats would do wonders for the acoustic quality of your videos! It makes the voice more smooooth and deep, filtering excess tinny rattle and echo which is over-interpreted by the mic. Cheers and keep up the great work!

That's what I keep saying when people attack Khamrah.... I'mike they have the same notes, and more fruitier and improved ingredients. Kismet has the same profile as KAS.

I layered angels share with Tom ford tobacco vanilla and oh wow. Also, angels share layers great with blue de Chanel parfum and actually pairs really really well with aventus! Yes! Add some pineapple masculine musk to your sweet apple pie brandy ice cream. Aventus takes the unisex and makes angels share amazing manly smelling

Your suggestions to improve it would be awesome, something fresh and fruity in the top and a beautiful floral in the mid. Your videos are an education. Can I just say that jasmin narcotique is one of the best jasmine scents I've ever smelt with monster longevity and sillage. I have tried angels share. It did not perform on me, and after watching this video I can only say if there is more naturals in essential oils it may last longer. Thanks Aaron ❤
I have another heavy floral coming out in 2022. Using Tuberose absolute. Try Goddess next. It’s a beautiful sweet, fresh perfume based around Gardenia absolute. I think your love it as it’s deep and rich as the same time as heady and exotic
On my skin I didnt like the dry down. The opening was delicious and the dry down on the tester perfumed my room and makeup brushes that were close by. I will try it again on my skin n see what happens.
I have this and forbidden and I definitely prefer forbidden. Its phenomenal! Natural smelling and delicious!! Forbidden got me hooked on your brand. With the price of kilian angel share, I would just get forbidden instead and save my £15.
That’s very kind of you. I worked for about 8 months on forbidden. In fact all Christmas and new year holiday on my own in my factory to get it perfect. So I love to hear how much it’s loved. The next two in the dark Forrest series will be out September-November just finishing them off now:)

I honestly prefer their Roses on ice that is in the same packaging I feel that one changes more the more it wears on the skin, it’s a little more aquatic and fresh, but would be curious if it has a real rose 🌹 in it and not just aroma chemicals

I found it to be mostly that faint woody, toasted caramel sweetness that some perceive Iso-E to be, and I went 'nose-blind' to it in 5 minutes. The girls in the office enjoyed it though. I was worried it would be closer to the namesake and smell too much like aged spirits. If that's what you are expecting, you may enjoy Tiziana Terenzi's Laudano Nero; that has a dark, rich, oily boozy feel to it but it can smell like you spilled a brandy snifter of cognac on your pants.

(What Calories!? It's MY ME-TIME.. MIND YA BIDNESS). Don't think... just buy it.. if u can find it.

Angel's Share is more so Hype. Not a Fan. It's not bad but it's not great. Maybe I'm not a Booze Lover. It's not making my Favorites list. My Favorites cost half the price and the smell will get you more Compliments than Angel Share and that's Georgio Armani Gio, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Savauge, and Invictus to name a few. But it's Hyped up, and I would rather get my money back. It smells good but the hint of Booze will make the bottle collect dust and not get used as much. It needs Improvement. Decrease the Booze. Add something that makes it better.
Hello Aaron , I managed to get this a few weeks ago down here in Australia. I'm just getting into Niche frags but I love this one. I bought this after it came back in stock a couple of months ago and although it smells nice for a little while, I tended not to be able to smell it as I do with your fragrances after the same period of time.
The way I build fragrance is not for cost. But for performance. If a customer of mine spends money with me. I want it to work, be long lasting and projecting. And on top of that full of naturals so it changes to each persons DNA

@@stefgyzels5977 The story is marketing and Kilian is now Estee Lauder, new owner new ways... I own some Kilian fragrances (also Angels Share) and I absolutely prefer the classic Kilian bottle + cap design, simple but elegant classy and chic.
This dried down to some kind of god-awful smell on my skin. It was sickening and I had to get it off. Can't put my finger on what it's like....not toothpaste as others have described but a very synthetic vanilla maybe?

Hi Aaron, Is it possible to add naturals to “finished” perfumes? Would you be able to add the natural ingredients you suggested to Angel Share for example? It would be interesting to see if you get the results you hoped for. In fact, it would be interesting to have a segment where in each episode you add certain ingredients to perfumes you think they fit; As a form of personalizing perfumes. If you want one that goes with the vibe, a John Varvatos Rebel. But just something dark that you like. Many by Killians could work among many other things.

Great timing! I’m debating between Naxos and Angels share. I think I’ll buy Naxos because it’s more versatile.

Do review 'Khamrah,' I think it's a better (and much more affordable) interpretation of Angels Share - fantastic scent.
Lattafa must've listened to your suggestions when they made Khamrah: More fruits, More aromatics, more resins.

This video is 3 years old. He bought this for £165 for 50ml. It is now £210 for 50ml. Great scent, but the prices are getting absolutely ridiculous.

I found it to be mostly that faint woody, toasted caramel sweetness that some perceive Iso-E to be, and I went 'nose-blind' to it in 5 minutes. The girls in the office enjoyed it though. I was worried it would be closer to the namesake and smell too much like aged spirits. If that's what you are expecting, you may enjoy Tiziana Terenzi's Laudano Nero; that has a dark, rich, oily boozy feel to it but it can smell like you spilled a brandy snifter of cognac on your pants.

Angel's Share is more so Hype. Not a Fan. It's not bad but it's not great. Maybe I'm not a Booze Lover. It's not making my Favorites list. My Favorites cost half the price and the smell will get you more Compliments than Angel Share and that's Georgio Armani Gio, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Savauge, and Invictus to name a few. But it's Hyped up, and I would rather get my money back. It smells good but the hint of Booze will make the bottle collect dust and not get used as much. It needs Improvement. Decrease the Booze. Add something that makes it better.
This fragrance reminds me at Nemo from Cacharel from the year 2000.

I bought this after it came back in stock a couple of months ago and although it smells nice for a little while, I tended not to be able to smell it as I do with your fragrances after the same period of time.

The way I build fragrance is not for cost. But for performance. If a customer of mine spends money with me. I want it to work, be long lasting and projecting. And on top of that full of naturals so it changes to each persons DNA

That plastic cap is STILL so disappointing for that extortionate price. Beautiful boozy vanilla but the cinnamon is kind of too intense for me.

This dried down to some kind of god-awful smell on my skin. It was sickening and I had to get it off. Can't put my finger on what it's like....not toothpaste as others have described but a very synthetic vanilla maybe?

Would you be able to add the natural ingredients you suggested to Angel Share for example? It would be interesting to see if you get the results you hoped for.
In fact, it would be interesting to have a segment where in each episode you add certain ingredients to perfumes you think they fit; As a form of personalizing perfumes. No disrespect to the perfumers of course.

If you want one that goes with the vibe, a John Varvatos Rebel. But just something dark that you like. Many by Killians could work among many other things.
