These crops of Media Practitioners in Nigeria are definitely the fundamental problem of socio-political problems of Nigeria. Imagine how they are unduly interrupting the Professor for making compelling arguments. For God’s sake, there is nothing like farmer and herders clashes. No! It is purely Ancestral Land Appropriation Pogroms (ALAP), which is actively being prosecuted by those whose objective is to achieve Demographic Alteration Scheme (DAS) by dispossessing people from their heritage. Thieftinubu plans will be defeated squarely by Land Use Acts, particularly in the Southern Nigeria. Let them ranch their cattle in the core Northern States. Period!

As a loyal supporter of Tinubu, I express my concern: is a separate Ministry of Livestock truly necessary? Wouldn't a Directorate of Livestock under the Ministry of Agriculture be more efficient, streamlining resources and efforts? I believe the President's decision stems from misguided advice. It's a shame and an embarrassment. The Ministry of Agriculture is capable of managing livestock. Let's address the real issue - land grabbing by Fulani herders who disrespect fellow citizens. I urge the government to enact laws protecting farmers' and herders' rights, resolving their disputes.

    Professor will be Professor!!!!
That Professor was absolutely correct with all his analysis. He made a lot of brilliant points. He said, "What it is needed to solve the problem is just POLICY, not the creation of a new ministry."
That fulani man was arrogant and felt so entitled. He speaks and makes it look like fulani own all the lands in Nigeria. He even went further comparing the aviation system with nomadic herdsmen. He is self-important and spoke egotistical
The other thirs guy was least among them all. He barely makes sense! He is usually out of context!

For Alhaji Galazimma, he just cited palm oil potential, but xow has never ever had such potential. Also you have enough land in the core north, why are you marauding and killing nigeria all over the country.

If Tinubu is trying to solved farmers-herder crisis by doing this for the Fulani, I think there's nothing wrong in it. If Oil producing states are getting 13% extra allocations in order to achieved peace and to stop the destruction of oil pipe lines why not creating a ministry to make the Fulani productive and stop killings of farmers.

For this is reason why Nigeria is dead to work again as a country, whereby the north decision shall be implemented for them! Now what do we know ministry is about? I know ministry belong to a government ownership and not for individual! I wonder what debate you are talking about, let anyone who's under livestock business should buy a land and ranch Animals, what's miettialah is disturbing ranching? For this is a business of Agriculture ministry,, the igbos goes to the north they buy land to do thete business they don't go and forcefully grab people land or living in there forest!why meittialah living in the forest, are they animals?

Transactional government who believes in palliatives and temporary fixes to run Nigeria and giveaways. Give me votes in the next election and you can have your own Ministry, or do you want a new state? We can arrange that too. In the meantime we have a runaway cost of running the government and the economic potentials for the nation remain elusive. How long are we going continue to do this?

Interesting discussion. My observation is that the prof is actually proving the case for the creation of a dedicated ministry for livestock since he spent all the time highlighting the gravity of the situation in that sector of the economy. Given that this issue has cost so many lives and brought about increased insecurity seems to me that the focus of an entire ministry is required to solve the problems once and for all time. I agree he spent an awful lot of time referencing the Fulani and playing the ethnic card. We need to rise above ethnicity as a country. So majority of Fulani are cattle men, so what. majority of Igbos are traders, so what. Lets deemphasis ethnicity in discussions please so we can drill into the bones of the issue. Its all about land rights. Its very simple to solve. Its like timber merchants that are usually co-located in one area, why cant the cattle farmers lease their space and pay rent to govt and fees for the supporting services like water and veterinary services which can be provided by the private sector

Thieftinubu man never promise Nigeria any concrete thing during the last presidential election campaign, but rather said he would maintain the legacy of Buhari, which is exactly what he is executing today. Thieftinubu is only trying to pacify Fulani Northerners voters whom he is targeting their vote in 2027. Southern states governor are very useless and weak otherwise they will swiftly swing into action of legislation that would permanently and effectively ban open crazing and secure the ancestral land of the indigenous people of their state.

The important of ministry is that, Bastard and wasted Tinubu president of cows and goats called Hausas and Fulani will conclude with some bastards in the south and make a law that will ban open grazing, but, will ask the governors to give lands for livestock, that is where Fulani will come in and slowly claiming your ancestor lands. That’s the motive behind the ministry.
