LOVEBITES became the first all-female rock band to perform at Wacken Open Air. Considering the fact that Japanese bands are not well known in Europe and the public is used to seeing brutal men in black playing metal.....🤗 Beautiful ladies in white come out and kick ass harder than most brutal metal bands. 🔥It was a pattern break.⚡💥 LOVEBITES made a splash! 🤘
Not only japanese, they are the only all- female band performed at wacken till now . 🤘🤘

If you ever get to watch the whole set, you'll see the audience go from "Huh? Who't that?" to "More MORE!" Shortly after this, Metal Hammer's readers named them Best New Metal Band of 2018.
I used to think that too, but they were given the award a few weeks before this concert.

Lovebites won the 2018 Metel Hammer Golden Gods Award for best new band. They performed at Wacken Open Air on August 4 2018
Miyako composed "Shadowmaker" under the influence of Scandinavian Metal. It has five guitar tracks and two bass tracks.
Miyako and Midori both chose it as their favorite song to play when asked in December 2017, the latter citing its many different elements as twin guitars.
Awesome! It's a fantastic song. I can see why so many people wanted me to see the live version too!

From what i have read in past comments, Haruna was a highlight of this show for many people of the press that were covering Wacken that year.

They are the best band in the world.
Lovebites played their first ever full length gig, not in Japan, but at the Underground a club in Camden, London to an audience of around 500 in late November 2017. Eight months later they were deservedly playing to a crowd of thousands at Wacken in Germany in early August 2018.

Not sure what you mean by "full length gig", but their first show under the name "Lovebites" was Nov. 18, 2016 at O-West in Tokyo, 7-song set. They did share the bill with 3 other bands (but they shared the bill at the Underworld---not "Underground"---too I think). In fact just before they went to London they played O-West again (Nov. 17, 2017) and did a 14-song set.
It's always cool to see those solos pulled off live, especially when Miyako and Midori go side by side. That said, while I haven't tried to learn this song on bass, it's always struck me as one of the more difficult ones in their lineup. I'm glad Miho in particular had this experience.

HAD to watch your Reaction to this one. What a great experience for a Wolf to see the early Live shows and realize that they are certainly better now, but they were already EPIC in 2018!

From time to time mistakes are made around the women. One of them was not playing the Thash song "Break the Wall" at the Wacken Open Air and later at the Bloodstock Open Air. This song would have energized the crowds even more...I'm sure.
