I lost a friend to suicide, she was my best friend. I woke up one day to her calling me, I picked up of course, she was crying more than I’ve ever heard her cry, I immediately drove to her house before she could even finish what she wanted to say, (we had replicas of each other’s keys since we were such good friends) I let myself in, and broke down her room door. I saw her hung body. It was the most terrifying experience of my life, from that day I kept telling myself it was my fault, if only I had seen this sooner, I could’ve helped her, loved her, I should’ve known, the signs were all there, why didn’t I see them? She hated social gatherings, she couldn’t get out of be in the morning, and she was ALWAYS tying knots. I still have her number and text her on it, saying good morning, good night, pretty much using it as a diary, I know this won’t bring her back, and it’s only going to make me more sad, but it’s my only way of coping, I hope she sees those in some way… I didn’t even get to tell her I had a crush on her. Some part of me thinks that if I let her finish, I could’ve talked it out with her. Made things right. Help her love herself. Anyway, thanks for listening, I just needed to vent for a little, even if it was years ago…

I think what really made this real to me was the scene where Sofi’s boyfriend is on his knee holding her hand telling her how much he loves her. Yet, she looks so sad and even with the person who loves her the most down on his knees, she’s still stuck in that haze that depression puts you in. This really shows how terrible depression is and how it’s a process to work through it. It takes tremendous amounts of support and time to become stable again.

This actually made me cry. A year ago I lost my best friend Jessie over suicide. I found her body hanging and I will never get the memory of her dead body out of my head. I miss her so much. We were best friends ever since birth and this video reminds me of how I felt. I really do wish I could move on but I can't. Let this be a reminder to cherish the times you have with family, friends or your lovers.

This hits hard- I had a friend named moon. We were inseparable until she fell into depression, which made me sad since I couldn't really help her. One day I woke up she left a long message saying that she loves me with all her heart. I rushed over to her house and saw her bleeding out on the floor. I rushed her over to the hospital, but I was too late.. Now I can't stop beating myself up for it.

I don't actually know, I was depressed last year and a little sudicial too. Now, when I watch these types of things, it's soothing. I don't want to be rude to everyone who has lost someone, I am truly grateful that none of the people I have loved have ever left me alone. Well, they have I mean 4 of them but not like forever. They just believed my enemy who framed me, but I'm over it now. My ex-best-friend who was also my first best friend/best-friend-forever/childhood-best-friend is now the best friend of my enemy. But, I have more people now. The purpose of me writing this is, that the people who we love the most are always said to leave us, but it's not with me. And, I'm pretty sure there are other people out there too feeling the same, but they still seem sad, why? Well, let me tell you, some people have a reason to be sad but they don't even know it. They think they are sad for nothing, and that makes them depressed. It was the same with me back then, but now I know better. So, to everyone out there, be safe and be happy, because many people whom you loved the most will leave you away forever. But, it's the way of life and it will always be. They left you, not because they don't love you, but because they were tired and that does not mean you will ruin your precious life for them. Once again, I don't want to be rude but I'm just stating a fact...

I was just a average girl, I was cheerful and happy, I was getting older when my parents got divorced although I was only 8! My mom had issues, she lied to court! I knew there was a chance everything was getting better. I knew I was depressed, I didn’t wanna admit it. I had no friends at school, get called names. Things were going down, and here I am now doing okay!

Honestly this hits me really hard and I know this was like posted 8 months ago. I joined in one community and made some friends in 2020 but one was bestest friend or at least I thought. At that time I was in the relationship with my ex until he cheated on me and then on April he went crazy that he wanted to do the thing to me but I escaped from him, I was traumatized a lot but I recovered from that. A bit later like at the end of April, I started to have feelings for someone, but I didn't knew if that was love or not especially since what happened with my ex, but then a while later my feelings grew for him that I even gave him a nickname. We were inseparable together that we even had a chat together. In 2021 he said that he had this crush on me on February and then on Valentine's Day he said that he loved me, we were talking to each other all the time...... But it all changed on June, I figured out that he loved someone else and that he lied to me to which I got depressed a lot since I thought I could trust him, after while we talked again but I was really depressed that time and still am to this day a bit. Then this year at the end of January he started to ignore me to this day, which made me really considered is he a true friend or not... To which got me really heartbroken and seeing his posts shared on other people's stories made me really upset. I felt that I was used and taken advantage of by him. That at the beginning of February I wanted to end my life but I didn't do that I was depressed for like 8 months I just never showed it. But right now I don't know I feel I was used by him and I regret on being his friend, now I just hate him a lot, I had support from my family and friends now I'm starting to feel better slowly

I couldn’t hold in my tears for this. As a suicidal, this is hard to watch. I once tried overdosing and was about to loose my life. In the following sentences, I will say something’s that you might go “pffft” but hear me out. Girls, get yourself a boy best friend. I promise once you have one he will be the only person you pay attention to. A boy best friend is different from a crush. My best friend his name is owen. I love him a lot(best friends way) through my suicidal, he helped me get through it. It was 11pm at night and he’s usually tired and sleepy after baseball practice but that one day I texted him “owen, I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’ll make it this time” he guided me through the whole night until 3am. He told me to text the suicide prevention line, and I listened. I trusted him with my life. He makes me so happy. no, we don’t have a crush on each other. All though j might not spend a lot of time with him and spend my time with the girls more, I still love and appreciate him. I always set a time aside to spend time with him. Please girls/ guys get yourself a opposite gender friends. :) stay strong

i've lost a very dear friend at a young age. she was amazing, i loved her sm. She was an amazing friend. Her parents got into a car accident, and they didn't make it. She didn't have any close relatives who wanted her to live with her. I made a gift for her using this same song. brings back memories.. if there was one thing i'd do back then. would be to say one last good bye. she died while me and her weren't on good terms... I won't say any more, because i don't want to tell too much information but tysm. this gave me many memories of the good times ❤️
