I forgot to talk about the Termi Exhaust! It was really loud. Too loud. Even with ear plugs I could still hear it quite a bit. The rear brake is good but the front brake will do all the braking for you if needed, it really acts more like a sport bike with the brakes. I did not use the rear brake enough to feel fade. I suspect cruiser riders going to this bike are heavy rear brake users where I am not. No other issues that come to mind.
Great review. I also have a 2019 SSS and it’s a great bike, however the heat coming from under the seat on a hot day is a bit challenging. I put some DEI reflective tape under the seat and plan on wrapping the exhaust under the seat with DEI titanium wrap. Hopefully that will help. I am also thinking about getting the 2109 XDiavel, however I wasn’t sure if they made fixes or changes to the bike since the initial release in 2016. Does it have a quick shifter? Also not sure if the heat issue may also be the same on the XDiavel as the Supersport. Lastly I like the idea of having pegs forward like other cruisers however not sure what you thought of that. It looks like the bike in the video has pegs moved back. The Diavel is updated for 2019 and a completely different bike, I prefer the look of the XDiavel as it looks more like a cruiser.
All Ducati’s get pretty hot. If you’re doing a lot of city riding it won’t be enjoyable on hotter days. I’m curious to hear if your titanium wrap helps.
The XDiavel I rode did not have a quick shifter. I don’t lurk forward controls but that’s my personal preference. Mid controls are much more natural for a riding position. It’s more long ride comfort.
Great review! I bet that windscreen is very effective I have the factory touring screen and it's way better than the sport.
For touring any windscreen is better then none. If you don’t mind the change in aesthetics it’s a great addition.

They’ve stayed with the minimalist design but it could be done better
I'd have kept the forward pegs. . . but, that's personal preference.

Which windshield you have ? And Mid controls ?
