My friend has this gun, and I use it every time we do nerf stuff. This gun, in my opinion, is really fun to shoot but ends there. Due to semi-rapid fire (Like emptied in 15 seconds) 3 of his mega darts are damaged. I personally love pulling back the bolt but it is unnecessary. I love the "simulated recoil" just because I think it's neat and new. But if you want to use it in a nerf war, get a different gun.

This is a review of a stock blaster. While the modification potential is a relevant factor, it's being review in its stock form and guided towards all Nerfers. If I made a review specifically for modders, I'd get about 10% of the views on my review videos.
I confess, I have a bit of a guilty pleasure for this blaster. Sure, I'd look like a doofus if I tried using this in anything semi-serious, but the aesthetics are amazing, and it's not horrible if you're just goofing around with a few buddies. On top of that, it makes a nice prop if you're into costumes and what-not. You'll easily spend way more making a prop "sniper" that doesn't even work than buying this and painting it. All that being said, the ranges aren't terrible, even if modding potential is almost non-existent, it's a cool thing to have. Ok I'm just gonna shut up and take my downvotes now, I don't even care. I like it, even though it's incredibly flawed.

I like it too. I haven't had a jamming problem since I got it back in December, even if the two thunks frighten me a little.

Foam flinging Warfare I feel like it depends on your luck with a good blaster, if your lucky you can get one that doesn’t jam and they actually have pretty good chrono velocity’s and decent range, and if you have mega acustrike with the tyrant mag, it’s perefect

"Bolt action" only requires a few inches of draw in order to mouth an actual bullet. Unless you're shooting giant dildos from your sniper rifle, you do not need this length of draw.

I know its an old video, but i just wanted to add my two cents because i feel this was slightly biased.
The centurion is a bit bulky, but that doesnt mean its a bad blaster.
i personally use one (albeit with a Strongarm as a secondary) and so far its smoked every single one of my buddy's blasters. We are about to get a Motostryke and test it against the centurion, so i'll update when that happens, but mine has been reliable. So far I've thrown the Centurion against blasters like Raptorstrike, Strongarm, Thunderhawk, Megalodon, Pharaoh, Longstrike, Longshot, and the AlphaHawk. It has outperformed all of them because of the impressive range of 80-120 feet depending on your firing angle.
It hasnt shredded any of the original 6 darts, and ive fired each one at least 200 times.
Its actually really accurate for the size. 5 out of 6 darts in the magazine hit their targets at 80 feet, and 3 out of 6 at 100 with a big arcing angle.
The dart capacity is kind of annoying, but a Motostryke magazine can fix that. The magazine release is also admittedly a little annoying, but it can be overlooked if you have range.
The noise is pretty satisfying imo. gives off a more satisfying trigger pull, buuuut thats subjective and depends on the taste of the user.
The charging handle is a bit lengthy and takes some getting used to, but once you learn it, the blaster can be very effective at mid to long range.
Price is a little iffy, but its not so bad for the quality.
CONCLUSION/TL;DR: the blaster can be very good if you know how to use it and dont fire to quickly. I would recommend getting a Motostryke magazine and good sights to make it hold more and be a bit more accurate, and a Strongarm to back it up for when you either run out of ammo or need to get into a closer quarters fight. This combo has won me many battles because i can climb up into a tree and hit everyone before they even know im there, then once im out of ammo, or theyve all gotten to cover, i can use the Strongarm to get close and finish the job. As a whole, good blaster if you run a couple attachments, play smart, and have a good backup blaster.
Just my two cents, so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

I put a scope on it and used the mega accustrike darts with the extended magazines. Now it's just over powered and can pick off the enemy team easily.

I got a centurion for a little over thirty dollars today. The range is decent and the darts are actually pretty accurate when I fire them. It looks nice. The only problems I had was with the wobbly priming bolts, the permanent barrel extension, and the loud noise it makes when firing. I like the recoil feel though. I'm fine with the clip release placement. It isn't much of a problem for me. Overall I'm happy about this blaster. I have had different guns before, and I am aware about other blasters made by nerf. I'm deeply sorry for those of you that don't like this blaster. It honestly isn't worth much over thirty dollars. I couldn't imagine even paying fifty dollars for any nerf gun. I would recommend this for people looking into buying this gun.

I own a Centurion myself, and the bolt knobs on mine don't wiggle. If they seem a little loose, try pushing them in a little further; they should click into place twice when being installed onto the slider bar. Yes, the thing is loud compared to other blasters, but to me it adds to the intimidation factor of the monster along with its size. (To paraphrase Doug Adams, "this has a right end and a wrong end, and you can clearly see when you're on the wrong end of the weapon".) Ironically, the areas that Coop hates I like and vice versa, but as with anything, YMMV.
Damn.... Sucks that it is so terrible. I really liked how this one looks, I was considering getting one based on the aesthetic factor. It reminds me of the barrett .50, which is really what I thought nerf was going for when they made this. The mega pistols would be like the desert eagle to go along with this ginormous nerf sniper (thinking of Counter Strike).
And what really sucks is that dart snipers are so rare, this one is just a rotten apple in a really small barrel.

I find the thumb hole stock aesthetically pleasing. I would like to see a gun with a raven style mag configuration with a huge hand guard that acts as a fore grip and is flush with the muzzle.

I put an after-market spring in the centurion. It fired the dart across the entire park and exploded on the first shot. No regrets

I loved the sound that the centurion makes, sounds so heavy and mechanical.
As an owner of a centurion,i enjoyed quite a bit only because i threw the barrel away so it would be a usable size
