Let's goooooo broski !!!
Ok DJs , you know who it is Mark Cuban check this shit out I have bought my Dj skills for 1billion dollars, its your boy, totallly represent dawg!
Lol I cant tell if this is a diss or not 😂🤣😭
@@TheDJConnect it almost is , but its done with a strong respect. Youre making the content, showing peeps whats what and youre a Dj. My brethren. Im not funny but am making attempts i guess, plus it just gets more hype to your chan
@@jsifgonz4843 lol word
I didn't buy my skills tho
I got the rane one
Sweet man!!!
So once you're in scratch bank and are done scratching, how do you get back to where you were?
You just load a new track.
Change your crate to your normal music and you on route.
It's magic is that out of nowhere you can instantly pull up your scratch samples at an event in a second and start cutting
There's lots of uses tho too those are a couple ideas
thanks for the video💯 I bought a rev7 and I have a very important question, how do you turn on all the lights on the controller?? Because while I was dj'ing in a dark room I realized that It's super hard to see all the buttons it was terrible ahah😥 thanks
Hahahaha that's really weird
But I don't think you can turn the lights off
We play in clubs so we need the lights to see what's going on
Which buttons are you having issues with ?
They're lit up to try and help you 🙈
But you made an incredible decision bro
You'll quickly learn everything and not need to worry about reading
Oh soooory I see turn them on ,
You have to put hot cues on, like hit the button
Fill the buttons out
If you change modes, most should be lit up by default,
Change from hot cue mode
But you can also just start adding cues to your music
@@TheDJConnect I sent you a message on Facebook 😅✌🏽
Amazing !!!
I'm just getting into bed but I'll check you in the morning brother!!!
Do you know how to edit and add to the sampler on there?
What do you mean ?
You drop samples in, same as the sampler
Could you use the scratch bank for an emergency track in case you just want to throw something on real quick?
Yes man ! 100%
You can literally load anything
Some people will load the grand entrance tracks and stuff to them so instead of loading you're just hitting the button on order
heyy question, can you activate the scratch bank without having an external controller? or is it impossible to have scratch bank and control it from my pc keyboard and mouse?:( thanks
Not possible
Scratch bank is required by controller specific hardware
Greetings friend, what a cool video, but I have a concern, my scratch bench does not work, I follow the same steps but it does not work, I even have the same DDJ-REV7 controller, you know that if the samples to scratch appear, I press play and it works but only one sample, I have to pause, point to the other sample and press play for it to work, it doesn't do like you in the video where you can play with the different samples without having to press play every time. Maybe you can help me. I thank you. Kind regards
You have the controller plugged in, and you get the scratch bank logo ?
From there you would drop your samples in, exactly like the sampler,
And than turn the mode to scratch bank and they will all be there
@@TheDJConnect Greetings friend, thanks for answering
I tell you that if the Scratch Bank icon appears, if it is activated, the controller is on and also if the samples are loaded.
The problem is that it stays paused! I press play and it works, but it goes on until the track's time is up and the button doesn't react. I click the button to repeat the scratch and it doesn't work. , I have to pause and play again and it works, this is how it comes out for each sample. It doesn't allow me to play like the samplers that you can smash at any time and it repeats
I would appreciate it very much if you could help me.
@@TheDJConnect Sorry, maybe there is a way to restart or reset the DDJ-REV7 controller to restore the initial functionality of the device so that it can work with factory settings.
@@cristomixdj2658 you can definitely reset to factory
But I don't think there's anything wrong with the controller
It's for sure settings
One more feature I need to figure out...
Hahahaha you got it!
Quick and easy
Fun to play around with
Mixar Duo has scratch bank?
I dunno never heard of it.
Probably not if I were to guess tho
use rev7 scratch bank withouyt shift + sampler route
For stems ?
How do you switch from bank a to b on the controller
Depends on your controller but the parameter button
@@TheDJConnect I’m
On a rev 7. Which button switches the banks?

Unfortunately both stems and scratch bank are bad on serato compared to Virtual Dj.
Scratch banks single samples turn the deck off (rotating decks) when they end whichbia super annoyng .
And the stems dont work that great and theres less than vdj jas to offer
Scratch bank is the best feature there is
And stems is better on serato
Good try tho
@@TheDJConnect you obviously havnt tested vdj's versions of these features.
I was so frustrated with the lack of features and customisability on serato i tried out vdj and haven't looked back.
Vdj has more "instruments/stems" to use, it works better in my testing and has the options to load them in as you like (aka manually offline, when the deck is loaded or on drmand/live , and the option partially analyse the stem if ur hardware is weak).
Vdj has had stems for years before serato finally jumped in the bandwagon, so this makes sense.
It was the scratch bank that made me switch.
In serato if i want to load a different bank/sample while one is playing, i have to disable deck lock, which is stupid as we have all accidently loaded a tune over the currently playing track.
Vdj doent need this with the scratch bank, i can have deck lock on and load any scrratch bank sample
Over and over
You can also use scratch banks in any controller by mapping th3m to anything.
In serato you cannot. Your controller needs to be compatible.
Now i know my gripes are not experienced by everyone.
And i also thought vdj was a piece of shit as i last used it over 16 years ago, and it was turd back then. A toy.
If you haven't tried it, i highly advice you to.
The insane amount of customisablity is what made me switch
