I have the conjunction and it can be such a pain in the butt! I can relate to the story about driving. It's difficult for me to even drive a car and pay attention to everything at once, not to mention driving in an unfamiliar territory. What's funny about this placement is that while I can't read maps to save my life, I've noticed that if I just go intuitively wherever I need to get to, it's more likely that I will find my way. Following a map just confuses the hell out of me.
Veerle, I think you have this aspect too :) Maybe the more easy one.

Omigosh, this is the most fabulous and tell it like it is explanation I have ever heard on this aspect. I have mercury in aquarius in the 9th square neptune in scorpio in the 6th. Thank you! Thank you! It describes me to a T. You have a real talent, I am in such awe. I guess I am so grateful as it is really a conundrum of an aspect to live with and It just feels so validating to my existence. So healing. I know I sound over the top, but this has been like a huge missing piece for me.

I have the square, with Virgo Mercury in the first house and Sag Neptune in the 4th.
Now I have also the transit Neptune opposing my Mercury, and I want clarity so much. I'm stuck in my life and feel like cannot connect to people but I think I will just surrender and try to learn to ride the waves.
One night I had a very clear dream of me being an astrologer which would really be my dream (or part of it). But when I read a chart, the information comes to me more in an intuitive way and I'm having issues trusting it.

So true... I have my mercury in pisces in the 8th house in opposition to my mars in virgo in the 3rd house. I also have my sun in the 8th house, in aquarius. Notice my mercury is square my moon in sagitarius in the 5th house, and my sun sextile neptune in sagitarius too, and also in trine to my pluto in libra, 4th house. All them related in the same conversation, kind of complex for me and not easy to live with, kind of magic too.
I think mercury aspected this way brought me many times to see/feel trough so deep that felt so lonely there, and kind of crazy because you know if you share that with someone that's what they will think you are. Then time goes by and you realize you are not and you had the right feeling, but at the moment can be very confusing, being alone in that feeling/knowing, cause you also know you can be so mistaken too. This repeats constantly. I think that mercury is also responsable of the kind of things I've done like transcribing a complete theatre script to a dance choreography trough colours, volumes and distribution of all of that in space on a paper. This kind of pattern of feeling/analizing/doing, repeats in other kind of things in my life. I also have been very involved with dance, music and also photography,. And many other things I guess could be related to...
I have natally square Neptune in my 1 house and Mercury in Pisces in 3 house.
Thereby my Mercury is more Neptunian because Pisces and yes: I am watch for my intuition.
In the future for a couple years I will have transit Neptune on my Mercury it will be conjuction - strong aspect.
I would love to hear your opinion on what I’ve been going through and maybe offer some clarity?
I am having Neptune transit square my natal mercury. At the same time transit Saturn and Pluto are conjunct my natal Neptune in the 12th house. I have natal Neptune square moon in the 8th house, so very soon transit Saturn and Pluto will both be square my natal moon in the 8th. Since these transits have started and I feel transit Saturn and Pluto creep up to my moon my love of learning astrology and utilizing it for spiritual growth has turned into terror and mistrust in the universe. My little daughter has an 8th house moon as well and is about to start a Saturn and Pluto opposite moon transit along with me.
I have enormous anxiety over this. Horrible nightmares and this feeling of dread and utter confusion.
I am wondering if a Neptune square to mercury transit (or a Saturn or Pluto conjunct Neptune transit) can cause irrational fears and paranoia? Do those transits make your nightmares seem tangible?
that's awful :( I have Mercury square to Neptune which is conjunct jupiter, both opposite saturn and ac, square back to Mercury. a trine. I am not a deceiver, but I do have a hard time with escapism and knowing my path
hey so I have this aspect with a man so the conjunction is a negative aspect ithought it would be a good one since that means ther in the same sign why would you put he conjunction with the negative aspects isn't it suppost to be a combo of bolth
I have Mercury square Neptune natally. My partner did too. And funny enough, my Mercury squared his Neptune (0°00' by the way!) and his Mercury squared my Neptune (4°27'). It went both ways. Not to mention we have an exact Mercury opposition (0°28' to be exact). I feel like everything was beautiful and then out of nowhere, he started seeing me as deceptive and deceiving. I don't try to be and I do everything with pure intentions. I feel confused

neptune square mercury in my relationship , im the neptune, havent decieved, i keep secrets but they are personal and nobody knows, i am loyal to mercury, i communicate well weirdly and he doesnt thanks to cap in 3rd house, 3 years and going strong, communication problems are real, my impulsiveness does get to him leaving him confused but we worked on it and things are okay now, dont worry much i guess, ill update about my relationship

Melissa Shaw It's not a hard aspect. An inconjunction is still a bit stressful, something between an opposition and square, but normally less felt (in energy).
