My favorite thing about Ian is his humility, friendliness, and passion for what he does. His interactions with his clients are always a pleasure to watch and this one takes that up ten levels thanks to the train guy. One of my favorite episodes!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
"No wonder they want to make America great again " that was classic
I’ve seen this before, it’s worth seeing again. It’s been just long enough to remember, as it plays out. This guy is pretty artistic, a fantastic imagination.
I don’t understand the steering wheel, it should just have levers. Like forward, reverse on one lever and a brake on the other lever. The steering wheel is just in the way.
Frankly tho the idea of turning trucks into small locomotives kinda makes sense on a small scale private line kinda railroad. Trucks are inexpensive, chuck them on rails and have them pull stuff around your small little railway. A legit locomotive requires more money to buy and mantain and needs a specialized mechanic, with a converted truck you just need a regular mechanic
One of my favorite episodes!
Who doesn’t love trains. 👍
Ian, you never cease to amaze. I know there's absolutely nothing you can't do. I honestly expect to see the UFO someday... Thank you for another wild ride...
This is the first time I saw this video but I'll tell you what I had a lot of confidence in and he would finish this job and do a wonderful job and that he did
There's actually a missing beam on the cow catcher. The original photo it has a brace behind it that forms an A frame on either end that is missing on the rebuild. As this is clearly a structural piece it may be a good idea to add it to the build. Same with the missing break pads present in the drawing that's not in the picture.
My man just made a new Rio Grande Galloping Goose.
C.W. McCall wrote a song about the Galloping Goose...👍
@@larryok8156 I know. For about 8 years.
Thank you.
What an anticlimax. I was hoping to see it move under its own power down the tracks. Oh well, that's 42 minutes I'll never get back. Cheers from eastern TN
Brilliant job Ian 👍
thank you for making learning such an enjoyable experience!
TOTALLY AWESOME
Ah, I wished we could've seen her drive on her own power!
Holy Mighty Magiswords! Ken Mitchroney is a legend! from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comics, for Archie, to Mighty Magiswords and VeggieTales, he's done so much. Seems like a really cool and diverse artist to pair with Ian in this episode.
Nothing fazes this guy.
I have a lot of these components from an old railroad track I bought.
keep posting more please
Ian, man you have got a lot of inspiration at that yard, love it.
Ian is the best I've seen now he can start a new trend Railrods ! 😊
Mr. LOWRIDER THANKS FOR SHARING THIS MESSAGE 🙏 🙌 mr. Romero said it right RESPECT 🙏 IS A BIG PART IN EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD 🌎. RESPECT IS WHAT LACKS IN THE WORLD NOW A DAYS. NOTHING LIKE THE OLD DAYS. HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND.
Was a joy! I's a beauty!
Nicely done! You make it look easy. Wow.
They picked the right guy for the job absolutely he's an artist
Great job lan and Iive in Texas right I learn a lot from u thanks u
I have seen a few of your videos but this one is the best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ian is genius fabricator, greetings from Brasil.
Heck ya,,,,
I really like your inspectors for your work pieaces❤️love how demanding they are ok thanks Charles later
Really Amazing..... very very good job
The great thing about this job is that not every car guy gets to build a Train.
Love this show ❤
Dude, you are an incredible fabricator with an amazing imagination. I'd love to have you design my vehicle idea when I can afford it
Awesome love it 😮
Way cool man !
Well now that you have a model train layout, maybe you should pickup (not a pun) some old train and car models and build a scale 'rail truck'. Toy train electric motors are easily found.
One thing about iron he's very good at what he does with fabrication awesome Yelp that's correct folks for real now you hear later
love your work Ian
Cool awesome 👍
It looks like the axle spacers were set up so that you could bolt on road wheels to the outside of the train wheels. That way you could drive on and then lift the truck off of the tracks and drive away.
Not sure about the front axle though... although the original does keep the old steering wheel...
Now to make a mini ford truck for the train set
Less talky more workie good episode !
Está muito bonito faço miniaturas e vou fazer este
They have a similar car at the Heston Steam Museum in Indiana. It's pretty cool
Love them doggies
Super cool
The cow catcher us incorrectly named, as it's there to push ➡️
the cows out the way .
Not literally catch the 'cows'.
And, the "Cow Catcher" was invented by the English.
But l'm having a laugh at whats being built by Ian.
He's a metal moving genius.
Killer
That yellow locomotive probably had such heavy doors because it may have been ex-Army and doors were made to stop small arms fire. Another reason may have been that it was an industrial locomotive in a steel refinery and the doors were made heavy duty for the safety of the driver.
Anyone else see Steve Ignorant from Crass???🇬🇧
Wonder why they left the steering wheel and column in place if there are no accelerator or brakes fitted? Also, why not throttle or brakes…?
Super, but the brakes in front are alredy missing. Woud they be added later ?
I was about to mention that myself but since those are rail fanatics and with that crazy workshop that Ian was so impressed,i'm pretty sure they will figure something out after all it will be seen as a rebuild-project-piece for the rail-yard open-museum.. We watch all Ian builds episodes from Europe big love for him he is master-mind guy i really wish there were more people like him in everywhere..
A band style brake on the drive shaft would work.
Gallup goose
how about a video of it actually running?
now! how do you stop it?
You could say, it steers as though it's on rails anyway....
this is a scale of 12 inches to the foot
Are these stolen episodes or what.
Yea
Yep
Or what
YES Stolen
Give it a thumbs down and then report as spam/misleading.
Oops typo
Brakes ?😊😅😅
I have a feeling that's not a train 🤨
M.A.G.A.
😂🤣😂suckers
season 5 episode 9
Sheldon Cooper hasn't stopped touching himself since the video started
Hmmm,,, a Truck Train? so,,,how about a Train Truck?
Way too much chatting ...
Agree
I only wish you could have made a new frame instead of chopping up the old one the aa truck is rare and they don't make new frames like the a or t
Just curious...are they real doctors and they are real patients?
Acting like this is not done there are a few galloping goose mail trucks
we need to see you people talking less doing more work.
Wait just blatantly steal the whole show?
Wow it's more talking than any actual work can someone please just shut up and do something
Bs
How can i see the complete project for this episode???
