  • In this video I attempt to explain my two differing ReveD RDX RC Drift Car builds, one intended for indoor track time and one built strictly for outdoor use. I go over the differences and explain why you don’t always need to spend a lot to get a lot. I’ve really enjoyed using the RDX over other RC drift cars, the simplicity and dialed in alignment were two huge factors along with how well it drives! The ReveD RDX is the best beginners car out of the box in my mind, no other car that I’ve owned has worked so well and been so competitive without significant modifications. I recommend the ReveD RDX OVER ANY OTHER CAR! Beginners will find this car a great place to start when jumping into the RC Drift hobby and it will give them plenty of options to grow with the chassis and learn how to drift with the best of them!

Good to see another RDX video on The Channel , I’d like to see some more of your MD 1.0 setup if possible , the settings I’ve used from NezOs Bad Shoppe MD 1.0 digest ( purple settings ) have made it the easiest car to drive of any I’ve owned or driven to this point , it drifts out of corners with more speed than the RDX at our local track , I really like the RDX and think it handles very well , But for competition the Yokomo leaves corners faster and catches lead cars easier with the same FDR on both MD and RDX

I sold my md1 and got another RDX. It’s all about the tuning and kinda unfair to compare a top of the line chassis to a basic plastic RDX, but the RDX holds its own with much higher priced chassis which should show how good it really is for a fraction of the price. Exit speed can be tuned by many factors and not necessarily related to individual chassis.

Nice video. Great details. Wondering on the outdoor car, what weight oil is in the front shocks? Thanks.

Thanks, I’m using 35wt in the front and rear, stock shocks, stock front springs and ReveD yellows in the rear.

Now I use the new RDX aluminum knuckle, in this video I think I was using the ReveD SG knuckles but they weren’t great, caused more issues than benefits.

      @@shredcraftrc good to know bro
I'll look at the RDX knuckles when the time comes
What's the benefits over the stock knuckles? Just the unsprung weight?

Yea only benefit would be unsprung weight.

One might simply do a google search for themselves. You asked where I got them and I told you, maybe check their site? Idk if they have them on their or not, I dont shop on the site so I wouldn’t have a clue. They are top line msr03 wheels I think.

@@shredcraftrc wow alright thanks. I was gonna do a search when I found out what wheels they were dude. No need to be a dick to a new subscriber supporting your channel. I don’t have a clue about scale science or the wheels so that’s why I was simply asking you to get more info on them my guy. Didn’t know they had a site so I asked. I’ll take my views, likes, and comments elsewhere lol
