I started playing Kagura a while ago now, I remember when I would just not understand how she works x)
But as soon as you master her, she becomes nearly unkillable and she's one of the most balanced heroes in the game
And you know who's balanced too ? Phoveus, day 3 of asking Beto to play Phoveus

I think she is a viable pick, but not meta defining because of the heavy nerf on her first skill and how easily she can be dominated in the early game. The revamp on Kagura really makes her dependent on her items and combo rather than just her first skill alone (speculations from a former Supreme Kagura before she got her revamp)
Agreed, old Kagura was challenging but very rewarding when mastered. New Kagura seems to be more team dependent when her ultimates are on cooldown. I kind of miss the good old days when one hit of her S1 would delete like half of enemy mm's hp.

Kagura is way too difficult for most players. Much like Lunox (with whom she shares a somewhat similar gameplay mechanic with comparable difficulty), Kagura is balanced enough to be always part of the meta if played properly, but her staggeringly high difficulty means that mastering her requires a huge skill curve that only more experienced players can keep up with. Kagura is indeed a great hero to rank up with, but only for those who have invested enough time and effort to actually master her.
Because she's not recommended for Solo que. She's pretty much dependent on a good team.
She never left meta, but doesn't mean she one of the best meta choices, kagura consistent & all-around...but she lacks "high ground" nature that other more meta mages have(range & wave clearing)
I find Execute much more useful for kagura than flameshot, there r very few ocassion when kagura needs dat added range of flameshot.

Kagura is the hero who saved me from being stuck in epic rank way back when sheâs meta (got revamped). Sheâs also the one (and cyclops) who let me reach mythical glory. I think kagura is the best when it comes to skills not only in mages but in entire game. Imagine having a poke(1st), dash with purify (2nd-blue), knock back (ult-blue), CC/aoe (ult-pink), and blink (2nd-pink). Sheâs really unstoppable when fed, the only flaw that moonton made to her is sheâs kinda weak in early game and when the game is too late where enemies build athena and radiant armor.
don't forget stun,slow and shield of her passive.

Kagura is a good mage the only thing stopping her from dominating other mages is her early game dmg which kinda low in my opinion. Almost any hero with magic resist boots can survive her combo before first item
Why it's opposite for me. Maybe alot people underestimate my Kagura at early game. But as soon I got mega kill, they started buying athena LOL.

In the early you should chase the easy kills and farm, after you bought the first 2 core items, the game begins and the enemy mage and mm should start praying.
It is true. That's why I most equip her with execute to finish enemies off. But in the mid and late, you can just one shot most enemies
She loses her effectiveness around fighters (depending on their builds) and tanks.
But boy can she mop the floor against marksmen and assassins.
I've played Kagura as main since s5 and she was never bad.

I played Kagura for a while until people said she's "no longer meta". After 6 months of never playing her I said "screw it just for old times" and oh boy she's still a great pick. I now never go a day without using her at least once.
Don't listen to people if you're good at a hero just playe it well unless it's hanabi honestly now in higher rank she's useless when will they do her revamp
@@vd1445 Whenever I see enemy picking Hanabi, I chuckle. I know their tank will be babysitting her, while our mid invades their jungle.

@@vd1445 Yeap, even Layla is leagues above Hanabi during lane, and has better damage during late game. She's still a seating duck, but at least Layla's first skill gives her good range and and her passive gives her good poke at long range. Lesley is decent with her mobility and pokes, and if you have map awareness, you are hard to pin down (don't pick her against clint/popol/melissa. you won't be able to farm). Miya is a late game monster who appears out of thin air and insta deletes three of your squishies.
Hanabi on the other hand is weaker than every marksman out there. In no scenario does she fit in. Even during lategame, if enemies are not stupid enough to bunch together and get ulted by atlas or tig, she's useless. Her only appeal is her bouncy petals, and if you make it to late game, and get inside enemy base, and has your team covering for you, then it get's annoying. But in that scenario, any marksman would do.
Your every game is so satisfying...
In my opinion she's the most versatile mage of the game, she has damage, good mobility , stun and shield. Most CC heros are weak against her because she can easily get out of their skills and stun/explode them back

I main kagura and I would say using execute is also good for her flicker is for more dash heroes and flame shot for heroes like nana execute is good against heroes like esmeralda

I was playing by thamuz against the witch kadita on the Xperience line alone and she killed me more than once. Wasn't I an excellent thug and I was next to the tower most of the time. Is there equipment that helps me to kill her or protect myself also I want to know how to protect myself from real damage attacks What equipment is suitable for that

Whenever I play mid, I dread a really good Kagura. She can escape, support lanes and burst out during team fights.

She is my main i have maybe around 8k matches with her on all my accounts combined and the all average a wr of 80%
One of my accounts has a 90% wr im litteraly so scared to mess it up i only use that account when playing with friends đ€đ
But yeah she is very balanced, shes not unkillable and if not fed can't really do much besides providing vision and slowly lowering the enemy hp so your allies can pick them off
But if fed she's almost unkillable
She has dashes, a stun, a sheild, purify, knock-back, aoe, high burst damage, good continuous damage, really good flexibility
Her weakness is high mobility heros, and because she doesn't have a lot of hp either you can easily burst her down, ah her cd in the earlier stages of the game us kinda long so once she combos, shes basically exposed

to make not her ult wasted and maximize her time interval of her burst
once you used her ult and killed enemies even before the explosion reposition the umbrella to the nearest enemies! usually the reposition's of umbrella is the last hit) yeah i saw that in his vid so many potential to use that combo
