Mikan's Picture Diary Out of Context (Part 9)

I've been enjoying watching a cosy and charming anime called Mikan's Picture Diary recently! To very concisely summarise the premise of the series, it's about a Japanese family who adopts a talking cat, and deals with both the positive and negative aspects of such a peculiar arrangement. While I think it's a sincerely excellent series, there's definitely a lot of moments that look pretty odd and amusing out of context!
