  • Four dancers of four different Indian classical dance forms have
come together to showcase oneness in diversity. This collaborative project has been envisioned and lead by Deeksha Arya. It was coordinated, conceptualized, and choreographed over a period of almost a year, entirely virtually by the artists from Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, and presented at Montreal Natyanjali 2021.
In the song, the dancers welcome Lord Krishna and surrender unto him. They describe him by his many features including calling him as the one who is beautiful like a flower, the killer of demons, the one who has all good qualities, and the one who takes care of the Gods and good people.

You are a great connoisseur of dance. You are perfectly right. The lady performing Odissi in this video is of master class. The song was composed by a South Indian writer called Uthukad. And yet the odissi dance was choreographed with breathtaking beauty. The other dancers have become insignificant before the odissi dancer.

As you are interested in odissi, I refer you to a good odissi dance available in CZcams. " Chhayant Pallavi at Bhavan, London, 13th March 2011".

It is because Odissi is filled with Lasya or the feminine energy of dance
