    This foil is really cool, I'm using this foil from probarbly 6 years now in combination with my Cameo 3 plotter (in plotter land it's called hotstamp foils if you search in google you get a lot of hits) to make text onto t'shirt/hoodies etc or on cards if you do cardmaking, or use it in combination eith epoxy like I also do now lol (to much hobby's) With my little store I had in Silhoutte Cameo products I was 6 years ago the first one who introduced this foil to the Netherlands, so I still have a lot of pretty foils that I krpt myself when my store had to close due to ilness, my favorite is the leopard one 🥰

    I just bought some of Rhonda's recommended foil two weeks ago. I got the leopard print. Haven't used it yet, but you just got me excited to give it a try. Also, I made a batch of shakers. last night, and some of them were purple. I thought of you as I was pouring them. You're so sweet. One more thing - no two - the resin pieces in the video opening are GORGEOUS! Finally, Rhonda, at RK3 Designs, does some beautiful work on countertops. Some of the techniques ( like the foil) can be applied to smaller projects. Thanks for another great video, Wendy.

      You can indeed use the foil on many surfaces etc, I'm using it on my Silhouette Cameo to make prints on t'shirts and hoodies, I used it on cards, I also do cardmaking and also epoxy 🙈 lol, if you crush the foil between your hands (sorry I'm Dutch and did not know how to say it) it will get wrinkles and that's also a great technic that you can use with these foils, you can kinda use it on everything if you just put the glue first or sticky tape so that the foil can adhere to it, it'a also been used on nails these foils

  • @mookzmom
    @mookzmom Před 2 lety +1

    Hey there I'm new to making resins and I have a question... I get these really fine bubbles in my resin and I can't get them out... I used heating gun, torch, alcohol spray nothing works... Hopefully you or one of your follower can help me

      Unfortunately some resins will always have a few fine bubbles in them. The only way to eradicate bubbles in resin completely is to use a pressure pot.
      Without seeing how many you have though I can not give any more help .
      You are doing the correct things
      Maybe try a thinner resin , stir it slower, leave it to stand for a while before pouring it. Using a heat mat helps too. Try spraying with alcohol instead of heat. If all else fails you could also degas with a vacuum chamber .
      I hope this has given you some things you could try 😀👍
